Don't know much about landboards. I kiteboard, wakeboard, snowboard, but haven't been on a skateboard since I was a kid. I'm 195lbs, a bit on the
cautious side (age 48) but I'm looking for a quality sturdy board to pack around when the buggy is just too much to bring. Willing to trade mint
condition rtf LF 9M M80 as shown in my avatar pic. I'll take more pics of the M80 if interested in trade.
The GI Conflict has been killer for me...

Hi,
I have been using the Ground Industries Conflict for a year or so here in the Washington DC area and Arizona for myself and for teaching kite sports/kite Mt boarding
and have found it not only the best board in general for this purpose from GI but also one of the best on the market. They are bombproof, stiff, on
the long side and have screw holes for a kiteboard style grab handle. I just screw in one from a kiteboard and it works fine. There seems to be almost
no one who can't ride these, which I cannot say for many other mountain boards.
Another good tip is that these can sometimes be had with the GI Crosshair hubs instead of the Terraintula. This knocks the price back a little and some argue (GI reps included) they are actually better for kiting purposes where sand is
involved since the bearings are more hardy.
Anyway, hope this helps.
