I was finally able to buggy yesterday. We had a cool front came down and we had north winds and the temp was about 80. It felt good.

The only rime we seem to be getting good winds here lately are when I'm at work or it's raining :flaming:

Good to hear you got to buggy! Are your summer winds that bad in LA, that even you don't have a kite to cover? I am often thankful for having the 7M
you made me, it often makes a bad day good! Flys in a puff, pulls at 5!
kitemaker4 - 29-9-2010 at 01:11 PM
The summer winds are very light and it is way to hot to even try to buggy.

Kitemaker4, I feel ya! Here is SC, setting up, riding and dying in the humidity just doesn't make summer wind fun. We always had 10 -12 mph around 5
each day but thats always accompanied with a thunder storm. ZZZAAAAAP!
I finally got out today with my 12m Phantom (been since June) that I never flew yet since nabbing it from MGATC back in June! Flew great though,
(thanks Mel!). Looking forward to a great weekend too, 12-15, all Sunday afternoon.
Now I'm stoked and I feel your "Happy"! Something cleansing about a kite session.

Me too, at a kite fest, locally. I also got a 12 yr. old and 3 - 14 yr. olds started flying my 2.4M NPW5. It was a fun day!

Hows things going up there Bob? Sorry we couldn't make it this year. Next year for sure. And The Kidd and I will see you in a few weeks at WBB.
Send all our best Thanks.

I'm not sure, but I don't think any of the Connecticut crew were able to make it this year. The NYKE gang was there, but with so-so wind not many big
kites up. One guy was flying a stack of 6 revs, quite impressive. And snowspider showed up with his boys, they also plan on going to Wildwood. Wind
might be better tomorrow, sorry for the highjack, goddess, but it was a fun day!
