Sorry so late to post this, but I just found out myself. This Sat., and Sun., 10/2&3, there is an annual "Harvest of the Art's" and kite festival
at the Maple Ridge Farm, on the East Rd. just outside of Lowville, NY. Traditionally the kite fest has been put on by the NYKE (New York Kite
Enthusiasts) and the Connectikiters as a fund raiser for Beaver Camp, a religous retreat in the western Adirondacks. This year it is combined with the
Harvest of the Arts festival, which draws artists and craftsmen from all over. I first attended with my buggy last year, and got my picture in the
paper! I get to ride on a cinder horse track, which is quite fast, but can do some great powerslides on too! FUN!

Good festival, attended by many. NYKE was there, and today really let it all out, I wish I had a working camera. Lots of sleds, fish etc., most
staked out on both sides of the horse track, so making a run around the turn was interesting, to say the least. Like running the gauntlet, it was
sometimes impossible to see the lines, so I ran into a couple. No damage on either side so thats good. I ended up mostly flying static, but when the
big one liners started coming down at the end of the day, I got some pretty brisk runs back and forth along the turn! It was a blast!:Ange09:
