I'm not sure if it is the same down south but the Discovery channel show on P.L. and his ( not so ) speed buggy .
I was slightly disapointed. WAaaaay to short and a little too focused on the Kiwis. They mention the competition but don't exactly name them ?? !!

What I found disapointing was that the show was all about them going for the speed record. They show Arie going WAY faster than the PL buggy ever did
but simply mention the Dutch beat then exceeded them ( + start off with the Dutch Canadian camps flags ! ) They don't even give Arie the nod for going

Not a word about the maker of the buggy that DID what the show was supposed to be about ? No mention of how the tires have evolved into thinner larger

If you are looking for that kind of "balanced" reporting, you are going to have to look elsewhere:
Generally speaking, I don't think they mainstream media is going to dig that hard, unless they have a resource/reference to tap.
If you look around on the Discovery Channel Forums there are plenty of people pitching segment ideas. That might be a be the only way to get what
you want.
