If the wind is good we are meeting at the sod farm on 10/17.
Got some new kites to demo if anyone is interested. I will keep an eye on the wind to make sure of the gathering. Up dates to follow.

I'm interested in going up to Quincy next Sunday afternoon. I could be up there at about 2:00. I'll watch for your updates here.
I'm a newbie to the sport. I have a bigfoot, a 3m trainer and by tomorrow, I will have an 8m PL Charger.
My game plan is buggy, then Kite Ski this winter (snow providing) and ulitmately progress to Kiteboarding.

Count me in, unless the weather is really bad. I have some new kites to fly and I hope to try out the new Buster Soulfly. So, the winds need to start
out around 8 and move up to about 20. All in nice steady increments. This happens all the time in Eastern Washington.

Looks like lite winds, but we have big kites, and long lines so we are good to buggy in any wind above 2mph.
We will be there from 9am to 5pm or so.
Anyone is welcomed to come, even those who are new to the sport.

man I wish I could be there! Say hi to the 'folks' for me

Well dang....I forgot to schedule it on my phone so I forgot. All adsorbed in the fact that there is almost no wind around here. Hard to imagine
buggying in "any wind above 2mph"!!! Next time!!!

Okay Jeff, did you go and was there wind?
fletcht - 18-10-2010 at 08:39 PM
Yes, we were there. Did get kites in the air with long lines but not consistent enough to buggy. This has been typical of the region for as long as my
short memory can remember. I know there has to be some winds in the forecast somewhere nearby. Maybe ski season will get my mind off not being able to
fly.
