Some latest News on the New Flysurfer Virona for Smaller sizes...
Still very new info from the Flysurfer Innovation days.
But I'll updated more as it comes.
Many are planning Preorders to get the first ones.
But there is no ETA yet.
Still in final Testing
There may also be another New FS Kite in Larger Sizes.
Maybe the Virona will do better.. as a Closed Cell Foil

Wow! Relaunch as easy as a pumpy - where are the haters going to hide now? Bladerunner - 19-10-2010 at 05:25 PM
Do I view this right in that he is trying to demonstrate not only the the kite wil relanch with a flick but it will also find it's own way to the edge
without bar input in preperation ?????
Or is it just sort of a fluke that the kite found it's way there ?herc - 20-10-2010 at 11:34 AM
this viron kite has only a single front bridle row and brake bridle. also, it seems to have a pulley at each tip connected to an internal braid, very
similiar to arc kites.
the relaunch looks similiar to a taco relaunch with arc kites. this thing is imho a cross between a bridled foil and an arc. sadly, it does not seem
to have autozenit.
very interesting kite concept.
add more cells, more aspect ratio, and bigger sizes, and this could well become interesting also for advanced kiters..AD72 - 20-10-2010 at 12:02 PM
If you had a Pulse that was that small and the same wind conditions I would assume it would behave the same. Let's see if it scales up. When there
is enough wind, the Pulse 10M also wants to relaunch itself.indigo_wolf - 20-10-2010 at 12:37 PM

The reduced number and larger sizes of the Viron's cells may in part be attributed by the single central air inlet.

Also for the inlet being only 1 and in the middle, when the kite is boobing at the edge...
The middle inlet is out of the water.
Holds more air in, less leaking out and water in.
The reduce cells make it affordable for sure...
Less labour and ribs (Also weight) and it works
Kinda cool to see a foil do that.
The Kiter is showing what it would be like as a beginner
crashing the kite and letting go out the bar.
The kite goes to the edge and waits there.
And notice it only relaunches as he grabs the bar....
Great for kids, women and beginners...
