I need some help on a project

I have been working on an online version of a Land Kite magazine. The success of the this project will depend on submissions from "the average flyer." My goal is that within a few months, the the magazine will have enough readers to persuade manufacturers to advertise. I'm hoping that the advertisers will be willing to pay in the form of product. My idea is that I will then pass those products back to the folks who did the submissions in the issue where the advertising was done. Like I said, it may take a month or two to get the advertisers.

Here is the general layout of the magazine:
Editor's Note - I'll do this one.
Local Scene - I need people to write about what is happening where they are. These should be short (about 150 - 300 words) submissions about anything that is happening around where you are. It could be anything from a story about a flying session to a local event. I need 2 - 3 of these per issue. Pictures are nice, but not necessary on this one.
Competition Results - Results from national events. These should be focused on kite sports, but if some other event was great and you would like to share it, it coule be listed here. Pictures are needed here. Submissions for this one should also be short (around 150 - 300 words).
Gear Reviews - These reviews don't have to be done on the latest and greatest gear (but it wouldn't hurt). Do a review on any piece of kit you have. The length of this should depend on the complexity of the product. Harnesses would require less space than a de-power kite. If it's a new product, a full page or two could be used. Pictures are needed here.
Flyer Profile - Only one of these per issue. This can be of anyone. The more unknown, the better. Two pages (with pictures) for this one. Let's meet who you are watching.
Destination - This one is kind of a joke. If you have a good place to fly, this is where you would submit it. The more "normal" the better. If you went on a great trip, it could also be put here.
Landing Time - This will be the final page and will feature a full page picture as well as a short blurb about the picture. Anything goes here: humor, sweet pics, anything that is worth showing off.

If you have any other suggestions, feel free to let me know.

Here is where I need help. If you are an aspiring writer, if you can take good photos, or if you just have something to say, please help. Just pick a section above and let me know you are interested. Drop me a U2U and I'll tell you where you can send your submission. Be sure to let me know you are going to do it before you get started so I can be sure that two people aren't doing the same thing.

Thanks for any help I can get.

I can do a write up and photos for local scene or rider profile. Which ever suits the first issue I'll be more than happy to be a part of it :)

I'm wet behind the ears for sure with some decent gear (so I've been told) with my strongest asset being writing and a knack for a decent pic or two. A web manager by day, which also couldn't hurt for an online venture such as this, I'm also probably one of the biggest gearheads around.

Happy to help if I can.

Do I smell an "In-Flight Newbie" or "A NooB with a View" article?
:eureka:

(hey, it's late, I'm tired and my creative juices have already left for WW)

Yeah, chudalicious, your first assignment, should you choose to accept it, will be to write an account of the WBB, from a noob's point of view. Pic's will definitely help. (Not really up to me, just a suggestion!):spin:
