getting a 720 around

I'm having trouble getting learning a 720 on a landboard. 360's are no problem, and 720's without a landboard aren't too hard because I can tuck my legs and really whip the rotation around. However yesterday when I was trying to land them on the board, I was only getting about a 540 around, landing on my toe edge and eating #@%$#!.

A couple times when i spotted the landing the first time around I knew I didn't have enough rotation so I kicked the landboard off, tucked and completed the 720.

Anyone have any advice other than to bring my legs up, maybe do a grab or something that will force the rotation around?

I'm flying an 05 12m frenzy so the kite definitely has enough power to get me around

try a grab, to point the board down to bring swing radius in.

kinda with the board slanted one leg straight other bent at the grab on the end . centers everything right under the axis.

once i started trying rotations mostly on transitions keeping my head closer to the main seems to be a good seed control element, like an arm out to slow things ...arm or head closer in speeds it up.

rotations and flailing body parts really falls into gymastic spin acrobatic control stuff . this stuff takes fine control and lots practice.

i am neck and shoulder injury prone and it really has me cautious with these elements esp on land.

oh yeah one handed is the order of the day def helped me control 360 better , probably why i hurt may shoulders at the start!

hope it helps , no 720 here , not on purpose any way.
