the wind yesterday was 15 NE. after getting tired on my SYN 15, I rigged my brand new C12 just to see how it worked. the pigtails i added to the rear linmes were too long which mad it hard to sheet out. but it flew so fast that it mwill be myn go-to kite in the future. I LOVE A fast kite!

i guess my syn 15 will stay in the bag forever! i had another good back to back session with the syn15 and charger12 yesterday. the wind was occasionl hole of 12mph but mostly 15-18. the C12 is one fun, fast flying kite!

Keep the news rolling in, interesting !
What's your weight, and what board did you have ?
I do agree with you about it's fun factor, but wait till you put your hands on the 8msq, it's pretty ADDICTIVE, I love it to bits !

fast kite for sure. ch15 just gave alot more range for me. the ch12 in 20-30knts seems to be the best range for me. thankful for the lighter bar pressure !

Well I had the same feeling at first with the 12, then I tried it with a larger twin tip (flyradical 139*43) and found that despite my 86kg, I could still go upwind in 15-16 kts with line extensions, so the range is really huge if you play on board, line extensions, settings (internal straps, vpc, front line setting). With my smaller tt (39cm of width), 35kts gusts are still manageable with the trimmer all pulled in.
What a great kite, really stoked with it. But my favorite is the 8 !

I quit doing west winds so i haven't been out in a couple weeks now. And I've got a C15 coming from Traig :) my light wind board is a slingshot glide, my go to boad is an underground 134 (?), and my new board is the ocean rodeo KING that is set up assymitic dir/twin. most dayus i'm at 200lb, 6' and 58 years old :)

" the pigtails i added to the rear linmes were too long"

You don't need the pigtails...
