Ive never used a buggy so I am completely new to the whole thing.
My dad wants to build his own trike for his paraglider so he said that he would test his skill on a buggy for me. (Better that i get hurt instead of
him right?)
I see videos of people doing jumps and stuff and I cant tell how the buggy stay right with them. Obviously they are somehow strapped to the buggy but
how?
Are they strapped in, or is the kite connected to the buggy?
I was watching some videos and did some searching but I could really find the answer to my question.
Also, can you do jumps using handles or do you need a bar?

They are connected to the kite by harness as standard, some people place seatbelts in their buggies to be able to do the spins and tricks and such,
but most people just rely on a deep seat and high side-rails to keep them in the buggy. re:handles/bar, nearly all the buggy freestyle riders are
using handles instead of bars, but anything is possible!

Buggy jumping is about as advanced as you get ! Think YEARS of hard practice to get to that level.
Before jumping you want / NEED to be comfortable riding backwards + transitioning . Both 180' and 360' Without a doubt handles are best for working
these moves out.
I am pretty sure that you can adapt a Para motor to a standard kite buggy so if you get the right buggy it can serve double purpose.
I am not too up on the buggy Freestyle scene but I seem to be most impressed by riders that are jumping with depower kites. A lot more folks go to
depower in a buggy when jumping than those that are into racing.
