HQ Beamer mk4 3.0

HeHateMe - 27-10-2010 at 08:26 AM

Hello...selling my 4 month old HQ Beamer mk4 3.0. Have only flown it maybe 15 times and is in excellent condition with no repairs. It has a lot of pull for a 3m but flies very stable. Comes with HQ Handles with kite killers and stake and flying lines.

Asking $200 or best offer....make me an offer and we can work something out.

I was wondering if the seller had any sort of a history.....do yourself a favor and DON'T google the address. I don't think it's jonesband, but this seller should certainly consider a new email address that isn't so closely tied to their....proclivities.

Ive been wondering the same thing. Lot of low post count buyer sellers on here lately. Any way to call out a user and be PC about it?

I wouldn't be PC about it. When you are dealing with your hard earned money, you have every right to ask someone how creditable they are. My feelings are certainly not hurt when I'm asked. I am more suprised when not asked.

If you have any questions about your buyer ask them to prove themselves. I usually offer my ebay user name then suggest that the person email me through ebay to prove who I say I am. My feedback on ebay speaks for itself. That's just the way I do it, but there are plenty of other ways to find out about someone. You can ask for referances. You can ask for a phone number to call them (someone who isn't willing to speak with you should be a red flag). Ask to see pictures of the product (someone selling something should at least have pictures of the actual product). Never, ever, ever use services such as Western Union. PayPal provides some level of safety, but they transfered most of their buyer protections to eBay so make sure you understand their policies before you go depending on them for protection. Last but not least, when you use credit cards such as VISA and Mastercard, there is some level of buyer protection built in, but you need to know what your card issuer offers.

Last but not least, there are ligitimate brokerage services out there. You can use them, but it will cost you.

Sorry for the lecture, but I have been doing business online for a number of years and I feel pretty strongly about scammers. They make the work harder for real business owners.

Uh, Jonesband1998, our most well known scammer, has AMAZING positive feedback on his account, you can't trust an ebay rating, haven't been able to for years. "Positive feedback" is bought and sold just like everything else on ebay.

Ebay REALLY dropped the ball and screwed us when they changed that a seller CAN NOT leave NEGATIVE feedback on a buyer. I've been stiffed from two buyers recently and CAN NOT leave negative feedback on a buyer that doesn't follow though. What's the point? It takes the integrity out of the sale.

That is the exact type of behavior that got me off ebay.

Seller- Best of luck with your sale, it's a great little kite, I do hope you're replacing it with something else as entertaining.

I will ship just as I say I will...I heard about this forum from a friend that I fly with. I will do just as I say I will...rest assured. I am having to dump my beamer cause of money issues and will be looking to purchase another one soon. I will want/need the good feedback in order to get one on here. If you have any questions about my credibility U2U me and I can give you my phone number and we can talk.
