That I love all of you guys and girls. This forum is so incredible. I'm proud of the good advice and good traders on here. You don't really hear about
people taking advantage of each other on here. There's all of these tragic stories about people being screwed over in the news, but not on pkf. Thanks
everyone for being so great. May the wind find youshehatesmyhobbies - 1-11-2010 at 04:32 PM
It is a great forum for sure! I love the people on here as well! I have made a ton of new friends from this site, wouldn't change it for the world!ripsessionkites - 1-11-2010 at 04:39 PM

Yes...thank you all for being a great group with a willingness to contribute to others fun and safety. I have gained more knowledge than I can give
credit for from this group. In fact, everything I know has been either self taught or leaned on here!
Kudos to you all and as Kent would say.......Happy Winds!!!!!Kamikuza - 1-11-2010 at 04:57 PM

I hate to repeat others. But I owe most all I know about powerkites and buggying to the good folks here on PKF. A full list of people that have helped
would be insane. So if I have had contact with you, you have helped out.
Thanks you all, DaveBladerunner - 1-11-2010 at 05:24 PM
I am happy to see this site grow into what the moderator invisioned !
A group of riders who want to pay it forward. Helping each other out no matter the level or need. A site that is free from sponsorship. A place that
we can discuss the good and bad about products and places in a level headed manor.
BIG thanks to Doomwheels and all the others behind the scene working to keep this the best site for us all!WELDNGOD - 1-11-2010 at 05:27 PM
Ditto, I had nobody to fly with for several yrs. And the PKF has been a great help and influence. That is why I lurk here still, kind of "paying it
forward". Plus I have met many of the folks here and they are GREAT people! and some are even very dear friends now.
THANKS BOB!!!!!!!:wee:nocando - 1-11-2010 at 05:59 PM

Also, nobody is going to jump on you cos of what you fly if the internet is a
big social place, then PKF is like an afternoon sitting in the sun at the local pub ... and it would appear from the state of my bank account that
I've been buying the rounds all day :shocked2:BeamerBob - 1-11-2010 at 06:40 PM
I've likened pkf to the old country stores of my childhood where the men would gather when it was raining or after dinner to talk about whatever with
good friends. Our friends here are from all over this continent and 2 or 3 others as well. I've learned a ton on here from you guys along with the
fliers I've been fortunate enough to fly beside. PKF is a part of my kiting life for sure.flyjump - 1-11-2010 at 07:06 PM
You know it's bad when you tell your family about what your pkf did even if you've never actually met themHouston AirHead - 1-11-2010 at 07:17 PM

it is a great collective.
An ultra small niche sport needs a fundamental centering portal like this.
basic info , access to gear without being ripped off, ideas, problems, experience, fears, concerns, limits and a mountain of fun.
nice folks make it nice.flyjump - 2-11-2010 at 05:52 AM
phreerider, i'm glad you said fear. The guy who got me started into kiting was only 29 and he was so afraid of riding on anything, bug, board, or
water. He told me that I should never ride on anything because it was too dangerous, and I especially shouldn't try to jump. I'm so glad I found
this forum to give me the real advice to get startedPHREERIDER - 2-11-2010 at 06:10 AM
right on fly.
fear, a primitive reflex which will keep you alive.
but don't let it keep you from living.
calculated risk everytime! despite your teeth rattling and skin crawling it washes away into real phreedom.stetson05 - 2-11-2010 at 07:26 AM

Yup I have done that before. This is a great place.snowspider - 2-11-2010 at 07:32 AM
I'm bending tubing , building buggies , and flying faster all based on the helpful info I've gathered on pkf. Ice is forming winds are picking up
.....gotta go ....... faster .... fasterflash - 2-11-2010 at 07:44 AM
I tell all new fliers to get on PKF. Hell most of you know that I also have a standing 'order' with all PKF members at all events I am at. You come
up and say something regarding something on PKF... and I give you a beer. Pretty simple. Todd - 2-11-2010 at 09:30 AM
