Since I have a good second ice chest I can bring a bird. I will also bring oil for two pots, foil pans for the birds and I am sure other stuff.

What about side dishes.

Do we have schedule or place picked out yet? Where and when is the pre-event? I would like to try and attend the pre-event this year. Not sure if East beach is still an option or are we gonna all meet at SLP again.

Now there is no camping at slp. The city just put up signs stating so and they are enforcing it. We will be having the pre-event and dead bird out at east beach. We can always make some day trips to other beaches when the wind is in the right direction.

I'm bringing a bird.
Going to miss camping at SLP, but then again, I haven't been to East beach in a couple of years.

I'll bring a pot and burner, forks, knives, spoons and napkins

anyone want to bring a couple boxes of stove top stuffing and some chicken broth? Or scallops wrapped in bacon.... lets make this a feast. Tell us your cooking needs and we'll try and help. We're kiters after all... and that means that we are capable of improvising with the wind!

bbrex - 12-11-2010 at 05:59 AM

We will be having NAPKA Races this year, days will be wind dependent, as I still have a couple of prizes to give away a 3 m Kite, some handles and a a few other tid bits. Depending on the number of participants it will either be a bracketed Pursuit race set up or a standard 3 or 4 mark course. We will have to see what mother nature provides for us as well what type of area we have to play in at East Beach. If you have renewed your membership since August of 2010 you are able to participate. If you would like to participate and are not yet a paid up member you can go to www.NAPKA.org and hit the Join NAPKA tab or you can join at DBBB just get with me ASAP when you get there.

See ya all there
