Rockville Buggy

bobalooie57 - 4-11-2010 at 07:23 AM

My friend Jan, responsible for introducing me to this wind addiction through snowkiting, and initial organizer of the Tug Hill Snowkite Festival, has decided to sell his Rockville Buggy. As he is not a member of this forum, I told him I'd post it here with his e-mail. My intro to buggying was with this buggy, I rode it for about 2 weeks, and then I got my PL. I brought this buggy to Wildwood my first trip there, but it ended up staying at the campground, as I had my PL already. It's the buggy on top, with the red wheels. Price with shipping please.

@garydog, Jan never told me what he wanted to get for it, and I don't think he has any idea what it is worth, so my suggestion would be to e-mail him an offer of what you would be comfortable paying with shipping, and see if he accepts. He might be able to send you some better pics, that is the only one I had. b

I sent an email. I bought one with shipping for $250 a month ago.

Thanks Dan

Sounds more than fair to me. I found a pic of Jan in his buggy at Southwick beach, the only time I've ever ridden buggy with him, he mostly just snowkites now.

If you click to enlarge, and look closely, you'll see that this rocky also turns 360 at the front end. Jan's riding with the wheel facing the 'wrong' way! Oh, BTW, I made that front fender out of a gallon windshield washer fluid bottle, cut out with scissors, spray painted gray, and slapped an Ozone sticker on it, attached to the forks with zip ties, truly McGyver style!

I sent an email this am and I am waiting to hear back. If you talk to him let him know that I will take it for a fair price.
Thanks Dan

He sent the price and it was way over what I was willing to spend. Thanks for the try.

i had one and it was great! i got mine pretty cheap on the net. i sold it for a good price. then the guy put it on craigs list for double what he gave me for it :) I WOULD NOT buy a buggy with out a complete inspection first.
