Since I used Golfcart hubs for my buggy. The plan was to ship/fly the buggy without the wheels then pick up some locally.
Since Norther Tool dose not have any stores west of Texas I am not sure ware to look.
Are there any ag/farm supply stores similar to Northern tool in or around Vegas?bigkid - 12-11-2010 at 04:50 PM
This is ware I bought my new narrow grass tires from. I couldn't beat the price but they are only on the east coast.shehatesmyhobbies - 12-11-2010 at 06:03 PM

I may have a world speed record kite but I am lacking speed record skills. I,l let the buggy pros handle that.
I am hoping for an out & back though.BeamerBob - 12-11-2010 at 09:57 PM
Check out those vapors in his quiver! You have a very nice playa quiver. Small steps between the small kites. Silver eagle, you'll be surprised how
easy the speed will come. What's your personal best so far?silvereaglekiter - 12-11-2010 at 10:46 PM

That will be a leisure cruise with your 3.5 on the playa with only barely blowing winds. Hope to see you again in April.coreykite - 13-11-2010 at 12:33 PM
Hey Sailor,
When you say "wheels" do you mean the rims or the tires?
The rims look like pretty ordinary trailer rims.
Available from most places that sell trailers or cater to those with trailers.
The tires look a bit stiff for the playa.
The page didn't say if they were 2-ply or 4-ply.
We use 4-ply tires out on the playa.
Bring your rims and acquire tires here.
The tire sizes are standard.
The square shoulder tire shown is also not generally used out here.
We tend to prefer 4-ply "smooth implement" 4.80/4.00 x 8 tires.
They have rounded shoulders and no tread has been cut into the tire.
The standard 'barrow-style tire with minimal tread are also available.
