Today was the first day in a week that the winds were up. I was so stoked to hit the field and try and get some photos and some riding in on my new
trampa. I was planning on an insane session throwing tricks as hard as I can. Thats not exactly how it turned out to be.
When I reached the kite field, winds were a little shifty but not too bad. I launched my 13m v2 (still waiting on chargers ) and the wind was behaving pretty well. Once I was launched and ready to grab my
board I felt very confident. I started riding for a few minutes and I was picking up incredible speed. One small redirect I was up in the air with a
smile on my face. When I tacked back the other direction is when I met real problems. I was imdiately lofted up high then dropped. No big deal,
just body drag through the field and then regain my composure. As soon I stood up the kite caught a wind shadow and then dropped, then repowering
back up lofting me again. Wind then shifted direction almost 90 degrees from where it was originally coming from. I started feeling a little nervous.
I really wanted to throw some big tricks this time out as a new rider for pl and trampa. After one more time of being tossed to the side and dragged
I decided to give it up for the day.
No sense in getting hurt just because I want to prove myself. I landed the kite and rode home.
When I checked the weather the winds were forcasted at 20-30mph with gusts up to 40! I'm so glad I went home when I did.
I'm a little dissapointed things didn't go as I wanted but hey, thats mother nature for you.
The new trampa is awesome. It has a wider wheel base than mbs making tight turns much easier, and the wheels are also an inch bigger allowing to roll
faster as well.
be safe and always wear your helmit

Way to lead by example !!!!!
When I started reading I thought you had so much stoke it was going to end in another hospital story.
The new PRO made it clear that everybody has to pray for the Serenity to know when to challenge a good wind , to avoid the bad ones and when to know
the difference.
You are moving along in your 12 step program very well !

I don't have a video camera just a digital one that shoots sequences. This week starring Wednesday I'm meeting up with some guys and they have theHD
go pro and a video camera. Hopefully we can get some vids together. I'd also like to make some how to videos this week.
I have to say that trampa and all the guys from Peter Lynn have been incredible to work with. I've never felt so awesome in my life. Ricardo has also
done so much to help me out. Thanks guys
