Yeah, food and family! Nothing better. Anybody got plans to get your kites in the air tomorrow? I know I will be out early in the morning to catch
some of the wind before it dies down ( just in time for dinner, in fact! )
Hope everyone has a happy and SAFE holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Just got back from a little buggying at the park. Santa Ana's are forecast tonight and early tomorrow morning. Plan to hit it again this evening (work
off the early TG dinner we're throwing) and then back at it early (6am) before all the soccer players arrive and we go to Palmdale!!!
Hopefully a little kitesurfing this weekend and some SUPing!
...thats the plan anyway.

Yes Happy Thanksgiving to my PKF family! Wishing all of you and your families a great day and safe travels, oh and maybe a little wind here and there!
rocfighter - 24-11-2010 at 06:11 PM
I would love to get out in the morning to fly. I just picked up a rev and am wishing it was still windy and light when I got home!! Today was 20-30mph
and I was on the road all day. (getting a girl home from school) I hope it is lighter winds tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone down south! If pumpkin pie is a guarantee like it is in my family make sure you have a piece for me!
Now to continue my search for wicked Thanksgiving and Black Friday specials we Canadians can take advantage of via the interweb.....

No flying, rain/snow/mix all day... We'll see how the rest of the weekend holds out.
With the recent rash of weather across the country (mostly central and North West), I hope everyone has safe travels.
My plan: Eat too much (what diet?), take an afternoon nap on my parents floor, & be well rested for an active Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
:bouncy:
Enjoy the family time & Happy Thanksgiving.

BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING!!!
rocfighter - 25-11-2010 at 05:17 AM
I am the luckyest. I am working Friday so I don't even have to worry about those crazy wackos out shopping at midnight!!! No stampeeds at Walmart for
me.
bobalooie57 - 25-11-2010 at 08:01 AM
I'm with you on working Friday, roc, the cheese must get made! I'm really thankful for this forum/community. I've learned so much in an area where
there is a dearth of kiters, and done it quite safely/painlessly thanks to all of you out there. Thank you all!

InvertedForce - 25-11-2010 at 08:39 PM
We got to get out and go flying today (Flyjump, joeblinky and myself) but the wind wasnt as fast as the wind reports said and the rain definitely put
a damper on our fun, but we still made the best of it.
Winds tomorrow are supposed to be 15-18 mph for the better part of the day, and its supposed to be clear.
