DUDE! I was gonna say mount it on your helmet, but... You multi task well!

mounting on your board makes for a distinctive point of voice and makes it look fast.

It's like a Kitewing ... but not

I am amazed at the one hand action on the kite... Impressive !! Looks like you get some smooth steady winds down there... :cool2:

Houston AirHead - 26-11-2010 at 08:25 AM

 yeah this front was allot of fun this week. yeah cheezy, you would be suprised over the amount of control you get with a small kite on short lines flying only with handles. If you watch close you can see me twitching my wrist left and right to keep it centered.
thanks for the good comments, ill work on making an epic, high quality video soon.

If you are so inclined You could try Towing the camera behind you on a roller dolly... I saw somebody doing video this way and it Was pretty interesting ... Great idea, and nice video .

Kenny, i think you are on the forefront of something new... :bigok::cool:

You could make a mast to hold the camera, like I made in my sched 40 PVC video. I used 3/4" pvc pipe and an electrical union box made from ABS (I think, it's gray) I got some 3M dual lock tape, holds 30 lbs. per sq. inch, put some on the elec. box, some on the bottom of the camera, with a little elastic strap for added security. You hold the pipe end in your hand, with the camera locked on with the tape, pointing at you. Works great for me, but I've got a tiny camera.

kiteskateboarding is a lot of fun. I have not tried it with super short lines like you did. Plus it doesn't take much kite to get going.
Here I am a few years ago using a 3 meter kite

Short lines

ride_wv - 31-3-2011 at 06:42 AM

Where might I purchase a set of short lines that would be appropriate for a TwisterII 4 meter on handles? I would like to try this with a longboard. What length of super-short lines would be right?

WELDNGOD - 31-3-2011 at 06:55 AM

you can get short extension linesets on fleabay.
