What a dumb ass ... "Japan is too far" apparently to send a package. I guess he was going to hand deliver it rather than go to the post office

hahahaha...wishful thinking boyz...

i'm a canadian girl...danger is my middle name...i'll post vids of me pwn'ing costa rica with this rig (i live there seasonally). you know, just to rub in a little salt. :p

can't contain my excitement! i'm super stoked! and i don't blame either of you for hating, so if you wanna visit me in costa rica then maybe i'll let you take the raceboard & sp2 out for a rip (that's of course assuming you can bring the skills to handle it - haha)...just to ease the sting a little. :P

pura vida, mae!

muy bueno, look forward to some vids but skillz or not you better respect that combo or you'll be handed.................CR is sweet, nice surf retreat but Im set year round with less than a 35 min drive.....................que pases un buen fin de semana

Gracias, tridude! hahaha...i'm all talk - i have a healthy sense of humor but (little more than) zero kiting skills. surfing is my primary, and i'm easing myself into kiting the smart way with proper education and practice on trainers. being a surfer, i have respect for the awesome power and unpredictability of mother nature. i am fortunate enough to have fully functional arms and legs (and a life - haha) and intend to keep it that way :) i respect the fact that kiting can be a very dangerous sport, and the risks can be significantly minimized with an intelligent and aware approach. i also recognize that the gear i purchased is an especially powerful combo - and i do respect it. i'm building experience step-by-step on smaller kites, and being careful about the winds i bring the 12m out in. i love risk - it's in my 'adrenaline junkie' dna/nature...and at the same time, safety is always my #1 focus. i believe in kiting there is big big fun to be had, but it's always best to live to tell about it! :)

It's not so much Mother Nature you have to watch out for but the dodgy Uncle who likes to play tricks on you by pulling your bar when you're not looking ;)

I'm impressed you've chosen a raceboard to learn on ... that'll be an interesting progression ...!!!

puravidagirl - 6-12-2010 at 04:55 PM

i don't consider either the kite or the raceboard a learning kit - hahaha...i have other kites and boards for progressive learning, of course. :) pura vida! :wee:
