Does anyone know where to find a manual for a Montanna 3? I just bought one used and would like to check it out.

hide your checkbook, debit, and credit cards.....................and start drinking heavily...............

just got my 12.5 M3 from abstract today.................looked great but it was getting dark..............bar and lines look new.
The M3 solidified HQ in the depower market place. I flew the 7m in the proto process back in 07 and it was very sweet vs the M2 which was nice. Noticiable differences are the material and bridals...............lighter weight fabric and fresh sewn leaders/risers/mixer...................

I learned to fly depower while driving down the highway at 65mph. Cranked the window down and put the hand out the window..........hand parallel to the ground equals bar out/equal pressure on each side of your hand, kite flys faster.

raise your fingertips up to 45 degrees equals bar in......... more pressure on your palm/kite underside, more
lift, more drag, kite flys slower.

As your kite reaches the windows edge pull the bar in and redirect. Once your turn is complete let the bar out, speed increases repeat process each time you turn. As kite heads towards zenith pull the bar in which keeps the kite from over flying.

When you reverse launch or fly in lighter winds depower your kite to assist relaunch and fly faster in lighter winds. Only draw back to down trimming is you loose steering reponse.......................

make sure to have plenty of room down wind, safety equipment and have a blast!!!

Thanks for tip.... One more ? for you.

The M3 has a "Leash-less" safety. I'm used flying fixed bridals with a safety. What happens if/when you pull the chicken loop, I know the kite will drop, but how do you keep it from blowing away down wind?

Answered my own question (primary release). It's good to read....

good question A..........primary the kite falls out of the sky on the trailing edge.................if you have to use the secondary or CL release the kite will flag away. Run your leash from the harness to the land assist line, problem solved..................
