so christmas came a little early for me this year... my new conflict arrived at my door last friday
besides being a really nice looking board, it is of the best construction i have seen ... super stiff deck that rides super stable... i was only doing
a little down-hilling today trying to get a feel for the way it rides... no wobbles, floats over the little stuff with ease.... pretty light, and
feels just right for my stance...
i have no experience riding without a kite, but after just a couple runs with it today, i feel like i could ride it just about anywhere (around here,
anyway) with ease and confidence...
im making a trip to the beach tomorrow, put it together with a kite and see how she feels.... more to come, but for now, i am super impressed with
this board and i believe dakitez might have a couple more on sale... not too sure, though ... thanks Dino Kamikuza - 19-12-2010 at 11:46 PM
Riding without a kite ... what, you can actually do that?

Sweet, thanks for the props Dylan!Seanny - 20-12-2010 at 10:27 AM
Awesome Dylan! Your board I bought is still waiting for me... I took of the front binding so my mom could stitch it up, it should come out quite
nicely. I have always wanted a GI board, and I'm very happy with this one. :]dylanj423 - 20-12-2010 at 02:54 PM

nah... it is i who should be thanking you (i assume you are associated with GI)...
the conflict effing ROCKS.... i took it to the beach this morning and was putting it through some paces... i took her up to 27+mph with not even a
slight bit of wobble.... jumped higher than i ever have, and had more fun than with any other board....
the feel of racing down the beach on it was great.... i am guessing that the stiffness of the deck combined with its length help to create a board
that is super stable... i think i will be pushing 40mph on it someday....
i also jumped higher than ever before... this was not because of the wind... i dont think it got over 15mph winds all day, but i am pretty sure that i
was hitting over 10ft jumps regularly... i am thinking that it is the amopunt of pop that the board offers up... it is also durable enough to stick
really hard and roll out the landing...
today was the first time out, and i look forward to many many days of great fun with this board...
i wish i would have bought it long ago... i LOVE this boardHouston AirHead - 20-12-2010 at 03:13 PM

Looks like Dylan was having a blast with that board. I was having too much fun with my buggy I forgot to go for a ride on his GI conflict.
Kevin, I'm planning on heading to surfside this thursday. I think it will be SE 10-15. I'll bring the buggy and flexboardz.
Here's a few pic my wife took of Dylan on his new board.

its prob the same length as your patrol... 106... not sure about weight, tho...PHREERIDER - 21-12-2010 at 01:58 PM
all about the same, the difference seems more about the deck construction.
flight lite(like 11 lbs!) would definitely help my rotations , but my old ass may not reach the short deck ends.Houston AirHead - 21-12-2010 at 02:58 PM
will do Van, im going to be watching the weather close though. I wont go on a stormy day, it has to clear skys for me. (im very picky when it comes to
weather conditions),.
SE winds :singing:van - 21-12-2010 at 11:12 PM
HoustonAirhead .....
you know any other riding spot in Galveston when it's not blowing SE ? I've been over at East Beach in that wide hard pack area. You can't do more
than 1000 feet of straight runs but the ground is is pretty smooth except for the ocassional cars that drive by. Winds look decent thursday and
friday but direction is out of the East.
