So all summer/fall I've been popping in and out of PKF just to try to keep that kiter feeling alive. With the renos we undertook there wasn't a whole
load of kiting taking place around here. It felt awful nice to wipe/shake the dust off the kites, skis and helmet to pack them into the car this
morning. I had my traditional first-of-the-season nervousness as I set up the kite and stepped into the skis but as soon as I looked up and saw me and
my kite playing with Mother Nature the aoxoxoma came flooding in and life was better than good.
I guess PKF was like my IV drip, helping me live vicariously through all you guys & girls while I cleaned up my messes (and what messes they
were).
We sure have an amazing sport here. And only we, fliers of kites "get it".

Well said!
There certainly is nothing like the feeling of when you launch your kite and watch it fill with life.

Sure is a great feeling innit when you fly for the first time in a long time. There's always that first nervousness "what if I've lost my touch" but
once you get settled back in you realize that this is what you were meant to do and everything will be okay.

welcome back Mac'!
Not the best winds but I have traveled farther for less! Keeping the " Jones " out at least !
2 days trying to fight big kites makes for a few aches I forgot about. Who ever thought hurtin' could feel so good ! Only 2 more days to kite Alberta
and I'm ready for MORE !
It was GREAT to meet everybody ! I expected 4 and we had 8 ! If we had more wind that Young fellow ( Colin ? ) would have had it all figured out.
Bring on the " chinook " WINDS !

It was great to get out at Sylvan with you guys and put some faces to usernames. That was an varied day for sure at Sylvan. Not much wind early on, and then the wind turned on. Macboy, you sure showed the value of the speed2
19, that's for sure. I kept on looking back at the flag, and was amazed you were still going.
We'll have to do this again sometime.
