take $100 off the price

bigsteve - 7-1-2011 at 05:13 PM

ahh I wish you had a 12 for sale.... as much as I want to try one of these, i can't justify having a 15m S3 and a big mama

ripsessionkites - 7-1-2011 at 05:53 PM

trade you

bigsteve - 7-1-2011 at 08:11 PM

trade what exactly? the S3 deluxe is definitely not leaving me. I have had the best session of my life on that kite. Considering I have only used that kite I think 3-4 days total out of my going on 3 year kiteboard career... NOOOO WWAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!

ripsessionkites - 7-1-2011 at 09:59 PM

i miss read, i thought it said SA2 ... i was playing SC while typing.

sparkin_larkin - 8-1-2011 at 03:03 PM

Is going from a Smoke to Big MAMA without the Boss is that doable?? I know anything is doable maybe.. is that a good idea is a better question. What the windrage on BM. Whats the windrage on the Boss. I think Tridude has one?
I am 165Lbs.

tridude - 8-1-2011 at 03:11 PM

the bottom end on the Boss is 11/12 mph with my door, 14/15 powered nicely and have ridden her in gusts up to 24/25..............great kite, easy relaunch, great in the waves, excellent lift and float.........................If youre looking to go low low with an inflatable, EH Ovando has that market covered...................cant imagine why a 15/9m combo wouldnt work...................

tridude - 8-1-2011 at 04:10 PM

SL,

I just noticed your weight, the 15/9 combo would work for you! Great kites the Wainmans.................

ripsessionkites - 9-1-2011 at 12:06 PM

Package deal if you take the 15m - C and the 9m - KO.

sparkin_larkin - 10-1-2011 at 12:30 PM

Rip
I saw a post of a Wainman user and he said he only needed a 15 and 9 quiver to kite in any conditions. Trying to check this info for the PKF users. I would buy BM if I had the coinage..:( Only good things in reviews. The versatility of being able to change the bridle setups.. goes from an upwind setting to a downwind setting and in between. Sound like Flysurfers for tubers anyone :Ange09:
Thanks Tridude for your input.

Are you implying I can't stop at only one????

These aren't Lays potato chips you know......

I don't think I have enough arcs to sell in time to get a wabbit.....

Drewculous - 15-6-2011 at 06:31 PM

Tri, u don't have a big momma do you?

Grab it!

tridude - 15-6-2011 at 06:42 PM

have a 15m SS Rev 2.....dont need it

Brent_P - 16-6-2011 at 12:50 PM

Is this a 2010 or 2011?
What length lines come with this bar? 27m?

I am looking to replace my 17m Waroo as you likely seen, the reviews I have read makes this look like a worthy replacement.

Can you tell me anything about its flying habits that I should know?

U2U me with cost of shipping (not Canada Post) to Newfoundland A2N 0A6 along with your rock bottom price. ;)

Thanks!
Brent

tridude - 16-6-2011 at 01:07 PM

delta C hybrid..........upwind, down wind, and factory bridal settings on the leading edge, flies on 24m lines.....................bar and safety system clean and simple......robust construction, easy almost auto relaunch. The 15m flies and turns like a 12m with low end grunt............awesome all rounder..............

ripsessionkites - 16-6-2011 at 01:11 PM

2010,
still only used four times, its just sitting in my office.

comes with 17m lines but 7m extensions (stock issued)
bar is still in near new condition

lightwind performance is great and its can be adjusted for surf or freeriding. lots of boost on it. wide range.

u2u the shipping

Brent_P - 29-6-2011 at 04:38 PM

Thanks man, got the kite today and you werent kidding about its newness. If I didnt know it could almost pass as new, still has the tag on the bag and the free stickers in the pocket!!!

Cant wait!!! :D

ripsessionkites - 29-6-2011 at 07:12 PM

true true ... thx for the words

i dont use stickers and normally just skip passed them

i like to keep everything near new (unless its been to NABX). never remove tags, labels etc

anyways, ENJOY THE RIDE.

tridude - 29-6-2011 at 08:40 PM

Brent,

Regardless of wind speed place the rear lines on the top knot at the connnect point and the front line bridal on the middle setting................this set up works best on my 12 and 9 but play around with them of course. The 9m flies with no pullies ala c kite config......your gonna love the Big Mama....................................................welcome to the Delta world. What color? Rips one helluva a dealer.....props:thumbup:
