Did you strap it on your back so you had enough wind to fly it???????carltb - 11-1-2011 at 03:33 PM

I've got a gas powered blower but worry about the unburnt fuel in the exhaust messing up the kite. They (at least mine) are 2 stroke and the exhaust
is fumey. Sure did do the job though. You could sleep on that baby pumped up tight like that.gabe - 11-1-2011 at 08:36 PM
I use a small rechargable vacuum cleaner, /turned around, nozle and filter removed./ one chagre gets the Syn19m and the 12m inflated once. Of course
only if I do not forget to take it with me.macboy - 11-1-2011 at 08:55 PM
Brilliant Gabe! That's the most compact, turn-key solution I think I've heard.Kamikuza - 11-1-2011 at 11:05 PM
I've got a cordless B&D set of drill with jigsaw and sander head, and a portable vacuum ... I've toyed with the idea of making it blow but haven't
really done much. Usually, if there's not enough wind to fill my arcs then it's not worth trying to play I'm a purist at heart :Dzero gee - 11-1-2011 at 11:34 PM
I use the leaf blower because we get a ton of days with extreme wind gradients. We feel little to no wind on your face. Somedays you can hardly see
the tree tops moving. If you can manage to inflate your kite and then launch it you will be treated to a strong, rock steady 15+ knots.
We also have some launches that can be slightly shadowed in some wind directions and it takes forever to inflate the kite.zero gee - 11-1-2011 at 11:34 PM

Ok, crappy location - I'll let you away with that ... just carltb - 12-1-2011 at 05:13 AM
i thought id just put this here aswell
it just shows the ease of landing and relaunching an ARC if you know what you are doing!!!flyjump - 12-1-2011 at 08:43 AM
Awesome carl, I don't know what you do for a living that gives you so much free time at the beach, but I am jealous.
when I was at wildwood with Tood a few weeks ago we got to stick one of the gopro cameras up on my charger lines, and I got to use your method of
stall landing so we could cycle through the video. Once Todd is finished editing the video i'm sure we will get a chance to post it up here.
nice workcarltb - 12-1-2011 at 11:27 AM
