In my minds eye: I can see the old lady in a low mileage antique big foot, christmas tree air freshener hanging from the foot peg, stradling two lanes of traffic, using no turn signals and a kite waaaay too small for conditions so she can barely creep along. She WILL be in front of me every day.... :ticking:

Chris, you always make me laugh.
Sure would like your humor at nabx.

Going to have to cut down an awful lot of utility poles and crossed lines are going to give a whole new meaning to getting "tied up in traffic".

Might get to go, but still waiting for the big windfall of money I'm supposed to get from forwarding all those dumb emails that promise financial gain by irritating your "e-friends"...

Meanwhile, the "increase your manhood size" promise spam I forwarded seems to have backfired... :puzzled:

At the price of gas and diesel, I could definitely vote for cutting down some power poles and making it happen! Would save some money on electric bills as well!

Count me in!

Hmmm, I've often thought of this. I think a buggy with a highly efficient sail would be more effective, though. Kites take up too much room in all direction, and the threat of tangling lines is always there. But it's still of course a great idea :) I'd love to be on the team that revolutionizes the concept and puts it to use!

I still cant stop laughing at ,"Going to have to cut down an awful lot of utility poles and crossed lines are going to give a whole new meaning to getting "tied up in traffic". "

Yeah for sure count me in on the organization that creates a network of "kite friendly" pavement. In my mind certain "open lanes" would be only available when the wind is at the correct direction.:eureka:

Also a trusty "emergency kite service" with normal gasoline engines; would be useful for those times of "O CRAP THE WIND JUST DIED":shocked2:
or

The always favorite, wow, that was a strong gust of wind!

(buggy upside down, and lots of road rash)

Hybrid .. kite with engine .. :o .. no wind .. just flip a switch and the kite powers up

Houston AirHead - 14-1-2011 at 05:13 PM

good idea van, there could be a a program in the car's cpu that decides when the conditions are right.
