So, I escaped from my prison today. I took w/ me, my custom made crossover bar ,seat harness, 2.5 Flexi Rage and went to the "golfcart beach" to fly
w/ 1 hand. Now ,as most of you know ,I have a fractured arm socket and am due in surgery on the 25th. So I figured WTH, after surgery I won't be
allowed to do anything for a while.
I'm just injured , not dead or quarrantined or anything. , I'm going kitin'!:wee::wee::wee::o:o
I had fun for an hour or so. Looks like the crossover bar will be how I fly now. I was very easy to turn w/ one hand. And I even used my bad arm
a little w/ no problems. It felt GREAT to be out of the house and away from the PC. shehatesmyhobbies - 16-1-2011 at 03:33 PM
Definitely Hardcore! glad you got out of the house to get some fresh air!:tumble:
I know what you are going through, it will drive you insane not doing anything for such a long time!
Talk to you soon!kiteetik - 16-1-2011 at 03:37 PM
2 years ago, i was squatting and deadlifting heavy with a slipped disc--at least until the chiro told me it wasnt going to heal until i gave it a
rest--i did for a month and my back is stronger than ever--so i say GO FOR IT!!!WELDNGOD - 16-1-2011 at 03:52 PM
I figure I haven't been fixed yet. I have healed as much as I can, the accident was Nov 6. so I'm healed now , but it still hurts and I can't raise my
hand or hold it out w/ any weight in it. Which is why I gotta get the surgery. Once they cut me THEN I gotta be careful of every little thing I do
for a good while .And I wouldn't risk tearing it up again then.Kamikuza - 16-1-2011 at 05:30 PM

gonna take more time to heal plus slow into rehab to gain strength... good motivation for one handed sessions though, i 've done the same.
you could just not go . but what fun is that. take it easy its worth it.Houston AirHead - 17-1-2011 at 11:37 AM

I didnt think you needed anything to make you silly...
Good on you for getting out, but take care man, dont make things any worse... WELDNGOD - 18-1-2011 at 02:18 PM
It's all good brother Mike, didn't do anything risky, just some light static flying w/ a harness. And yeah, the pills just multiply the sillyness.
