complete forecast failure, with rain from the WSW.
I showed up ready to hit the water and a bunch nothing showed up! but i made the best of it before the rain dropped, you can see the rain coming
from the main land . def tried to stay in the framing . the soft sand on the right did not allow much speed build up .
i think i had a left shoulder injury at this time and tried keep it out the work as much as i could.
this is the first light air session on a SYN so triming and stalling are mixed in here and there and gives alot of kite action as i rotate through the
spot . very tight spot and side on in this specific spot.
definitely a fliers session, lots of loops and transitions , very basic rudimentary board action. demos ultra light air flying using the entire
window.
thanks LAD! ...all seems solid.
enjoy

the back of my leg ...dog bite , "moonshine " american pit bull could not resist the introduction. he's lucky he still has his head! it was the
first in the file so i dare not "try to pick one" .

The high speed shows what a dance it was between you, the kite and the board. Watching you do that makes me want to give a board a go on a beach like
that. I guess surfing was out of the question that day? The surf looked to be maybe 3-4 inches. Unbelievable.

Bob the 20 + west was foiled by the moisture. this is a favorite offshore spot. this is actually calibogue sound. this is a nice flat spot for
sure. a mile to left i like going to a sandbar thats even better , less current !
rarely see surf here but we've ridden on S /SW with the tide change and its very challenging up close, you really have to pour the speed to it or
everything just stops and then washes you into stall. fun spot with good west wind and slack to rising tide. this is the spot where i've had some
of my highest wind session, spring can bring 35-40+mph breeze. the wind meter i post data from the most is right around the corner(to the right).
the current and gusty winds can be unnerving at times, out in the middle and just shut off and its a scramble to stay up til the next nuclear blast
comes along.

Juxtaposition of music and time-lapse was poetic and comical at the same time. Bravo. thanks!

thanks angus
the flow comes out nice with the speed tweak. alot trans. maybe twice kite line length in the framing.
the helicopter fly by with the sound really gave an 'off world" feel. is this the right forum for that language?

I thought they were jets! You said Coast Guard and I'm used to the orange helicopters, but with the sound sped up and the craft streaming by at light
speed, I assumed they were both jets.
