Hello all, I bought my first powerkite yesterday in Huntington Beach, CA. It's a Prism 1.9 and it's AWESOME. I allready want to get a bigger one
that I can catch air on. I am totally new to this and any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated. I am looking for places to go, other
than the beach, and some kiteboarding or any other cool stuff that's possible with these cool kites. Have a great day.

congrats! prism makes nice kites--you will find that kite very fun--you will also find that the bigger kites will be MUCH more powerful....... and
finally, you will find that "catching some air" isnt a healthy activity, until you've had considerable flying time under your belt--and even then, its
a risky proposition........most people use power kites to get moving in some manner, wether that be with a buggy,snowboard,mountain board,scudding or
water kiteboarding.......

As far as "catchin' air" goes... when you watch videos of people doing crazy jumps and freestyle tricks and such... unless it's a video specifically
about crashing... all you really see is what happened when everything went right. And it's NOT as easy as it looks. Always happy to have another
inductee in the power kiting community 
You're going to love it! It's an
addiction. Fly the hell out of that Prism, and when you can pilot it blind so that you know exactly where it is in the sky by the feeling it makes
when it pulls in your hands, then you're definitely ready to take it up a notch. Just PLEASE for the sake of us all, don't try to kite jump with it

Yup 3m absolute minimum size for jumping, and then the kite is moving about as fast as your reflexes can keep up! Zero float as well! 
don't do it on that, you'll likely get your first bits of safe (ish???) air on
5-6m kites.
My first kite was a snapshot 1.4 and I flew the heck out of that thing....
