I got one and really like it. Bought it used from a member here. You're right, they are pricey. The start with the kite is a little tricky but if you
practice without the kite first, you can get the hang of it pretty quick. Just make sure you know how to ride toeside so you can make your transitions
without have to stop and swing the DS around. You will need a lot of space for these guys because you burn up area quickly.
Out of the lanboard, buggy and DS, I like my landboard the best and the DS and buggy I think are tied for second.
They're a fun toy...check out some of the videos where the guys are 'surfing' the 'storm channels' in Albuquerque New Mexico....now that looks like
fun!

I started making one over the winter. But life caught up with me. Maybe it'll be done soon.
