What is the main difference between the bar that comes with the Outlaw (standard Fabric) or upgrading to the infinity bar? They dont say much about
the difference on the website and I dont see much talk about the Outlaw on PKF.

Don't all new outlaws come with the infinity bar? I have an older Pulse II which would have the same (non-infinity) bar as the Outlaw. Big
difference would be the chicken loop and quick release setup. I have no problems using the older bar and don't mind the rope/tube chickent loop.
Some complain that putting the safety back together after popping the 5th line can be pretty tough on the standard bar in the snow. I've only popped
it once and it is a bit of a trick. That was improved with the infinity bar but if you don't pop to the fifth line its never going to be a problem.sTEPSIDe - 30-1-2011 at 11:50 AM

Forget about putting the old style chicken loop together in the water. I switched to a ozone megatron. The infinity bar release is even better. If

That's what I'd heard but seeing how the outlaw is the snow/land kite I assume he isn't using it in the water. It will still be tricky with gloves
though and keep the diagram with you. However, given the outlaw is open celled you really would only ever need the fifth line in a real bad situation
since you can down an outlaw on the landing line handle. Infinity bar is probably better for water but I feel the standard setup is sufficient for
what I need.
Oh yeah - forgot Outlaw is an open cell land only kite.

If you have a choice, get the infinity bar. The biggest difference is the safety, which is soooo much easier to use. I have been on the fence about
just paying for the infinity bar on multiple occasions. At this point, I dont fly my outlaws often enough to warrant the expenditure.
Aside from the difference on the safety release, the infinity bar also lets you spin out twists in the lines. With the older bar, if you loop the kite
(for whatever reason) you will have to either spin yourself, or loop the kite the other direction. Not a big deal, but with the Infinity bar you can
just pull it in and the lines spin themselves out... (most times).jokiter - 31-1-2011 at 11:29 AM
I would also go with the infinity bar. As fellows mentioned here - safty is much better to reassemble and you can spin out twists in the lines.
My Outlaw has the old bar and resetting the safty in the winter/cold fingers is difficult, also the bar has a too tight hole where depower and 5th
line are running thru. So you have some tension there if you turn and de/power the kite the same time.
