Rodeo 360? I think its time

I've been going to open gymnastics and have the rotation down on a trampoline into the foam pit. My only concerns are avoiding hitting my lines with the snowboard and not being able to rotate properly due to my Center of Gravity being different since I'm on a kite.

Does anyone have any experience with throwing, or trying to throw, on of these?

On a snowboard, my play is to be riding regular, start a slow rotating 360 and huck the backflip.

I think for the first few times it'll be a very off axis rotation where my head will barely dip below my feet/waist until I can get comfortable. (Kind of like how guys in the xGames throw double corS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s)

Hopefully a video is coming soon

hooked in its only gonna be an inverted 360. going from heel to blind

rodeo (Whirly on wake?) on a kite is gonna be unhooked where rotational axis changes 90 degrees... not sure. but end up being unhooked inverted 360 with a direction and axis change..

..don't know if "rodeo" translate to kite... maybe like unhooked s mobe or slim chance has axis change and direction of rotation change.

the tether ruins it, unless kite is super low!!

an unhooked invert 360 (front or back)is an over head(bar ) kite move, and then go back to the hips with the one handed axis change..tuff one there my friend. my neck and shoulders are to old for that one.

this is true. My plan was to start the back flip and as the board was coming up toward the lines, rotate the 360 so the board misses the lines. I guess you're right, this would be more of an inverted 360 than a rodeo. Stupid kite lines would get in the way otherwise

if you can imagine a handle pass by way of your feet/board! not your back/ hips.

the gymnastic inclusion is important. aerial/spatial body control takes a ton of practice. balance ==> balance and tramp ==>balance/tramp/axis control==> now add acceleration without safety at 10-15 ft. and don't forget blind kite control. control is paramount at this point.

i don't know why tramp practice isn't discussed more here. its a safe fundamental practice for aerials. plus its a great fitness avenue when the wind is down.

keep the stoke! an invert 360 hooked is way cool, unhooked with a kiteloop is true ascension.

Will do, hope I can get somebody to be my camara man on a 15-20 kt day. I can't do a kiteloop while in the air though, I'm flying a foil and it doesn't turn quick enough
