Hi,
I'm new here. A friend told me about this site. A few years ago he gave me a good deal on a used but in super condition PL Bomba 15m.
Sadly, the Bomba is no more, along with just about everything else. I experienced a house fire on Dec 19th at about 5:50am. Everyone including the
dogs all got out ok, but the kites, fish, most furniture, etc is gone. Somehow most of the clothing washed clean. Don't know how that happened. The
ceilings are mostly down and everything that was in storage upstairs is now downstairs; resulting in everything being covered in massive piles of
burnt crap, insulation, lath, etc.
Anyway, I miss my Bomba like crazy and I've been kite hunting and think a PL Venom II (preferably 16m) would do the job. The Bomba was great for
airtime, but I'd like to try a larger aspect ratio. If you know of anyone getting rid of a used Venom II in good shape, especially if blue in color, please let me know.
I miss the good times kiting. (The board shown here actually survived the fire, don't know how.)

Wow, sorry to hear about your misfortune, glad everyone was OK. You've come to the right place, while there don't seem to be any up for grabs right
now, there are loads of Arc users here and they pop up in the for sale section quite often. Love the Bombas. Never flown one but they harken back to
the good old days of fun graphics like the Phantoms.

Yeah, the half explosion graphics on my Bomba was fun. If you ever get the chance to fly one, do it. They move a bit slow, but the hang time is sweet.

welcome! sorry to hear of your misfortune, but everyone is alive and well, and that's really all that matters--like Kelly said, a venom will pop up,
probably sooner than you think.......

p.s. sorry about your misfortune, I went thru the same thing when I was younger. Went thru the whole house fire ordeal, I can relate to starting over
again, it's never easy.

I still have my old Bomba 15, I put it for sale Here, but I'm pretty sure that you'll prefer a V2, but if you are nostalgic, I can sell it to you.

I liked my Bomba, but a V2 looks like one I'd like maybe a bit more. I may have to wait to find one in lesser condition than the one for sale
currently, for what I got my Bomba for, even though it was like new. If I can do that, the insurance money will go further. Now that I know this site,
I'm sure I'll find what I'm looking for in time. I'll continue to check back frequently.

There isn't really a huge difference between a V1 and V2. You can easily modify a V1 to turn it into a V2. The only difference is the V2 turns a bit
quicker and has a flight adjuster strap... but that's about it...
