Those of you who have multiple LEI's, do you have a bar for each one or just hook up one bar to whichever kite you are about to use?
I was thinking about a 6m, 9m, 11m, 14m setup. 14 for ultralight wind, 6m for nuking conditions and the other two to cover the wind range in between.
What about twin tip boards? A 2 board setup? A big one for light wind and then a primary board?

2 bars:
45 cm bar for 9m and below
55cm bar for 11m and above. Although, the 55cm on the 9m really cranks it for loops.
3 boards:
Lightwind: 146x50
Medium/All-around: 139x41.5 (primary)

one bar flies ALL , dude you don't need 4 kites ...one! maybe 2
a board to learn on usually a bigger lightwind board. then a smaller on for a go to board as skills progress for some a couple of months, others a
season or 2. the light wind you rarely go back to it.
for bigger guys a really good light wind boards can have a lot of range.
12m /8m for average rider <190, with one bar.
about every 20 lbs. the scale ticks up a meter 13/9, 14/10 etc... also in the opposite direction.

people tend to buy less bars than kites new.
lines and bar parts sometimes breaks. people always look for extra bars cause they miss 1 or 2.
it's easier to sell a bar alone than a kite alone.
for resell reasons, I always buy a bar with each kite because reselling a used kite with it's original bar is easier.
also if you have 1 bar for multiple kites, the bar lines will get used faster and will make it odds when selling.
so you pay now for bars, or later !!
you dont need 4 kites. 3 max and 2 is OK.
play with boards, they make a big difference in light wind.
same guy a spleene DOOR with a 12m will go much earlier than a 14m with a 136 regular twin-tip
during kitesurf sessions, the wind can often change. it's easier to go back to shore to only grab a different board.
