So my dad is in a paragliding group called Flight Junkies.
He has made some close friends from the group and one of the guys wants to start his own group and they want my help with everything (name, logo,
phrase, website)
I need help with a name.
They had the Thrillbillies, but it was taken
So now they are called the Wisconsin Sundogs...
PLEASE, for the sake of saving them from the horrible name, help me come up with something
They prefer that it be kind of red necky but im pretty sure anything beats "The Wisconsin Sundogs"

Sundogs isn't bad but many people might not actually know what a sundog is - assuming they are also making reference to the circular light/glow effect
you get from ice crystals in the air.
If you think you dad and buddies are really old you could use the same name as an old stunt kite
the Skynasaurs
- Wisconsin Hot Wings
ummm I don't know still having a coffee - really cold this morning
In the design studio when trying to come up with product names or descriptors we would make a list of all words that might have any association to
what you are doing - could be words that describe moods, words that have to do with the sport or just words you like - then you could look on line for
word jumble software that takes all the words and mixes and matches all the combinations - might give you a place to startcheezycheese - 11-2-2011 at 08:12 AM

So can someone tell me what a "Sun Dog" actually is?indigo_wolf - 13-2-2011 at 08:45 AM
Sun dogs actually have nothing to do with furry creatures.
Picture is worth a thousand words, so:
It's the atmospheric condition that causes bright spots of light around the sun.
Around our house, the sun dog is a Springer Spaniel who bakes her brain on the sun deck. To be fair both cats do the same thing from their window
perches. On a good day, you can cook an egg off the black siamese, but generally have to fight him for it.... and of course you have to pick out all
the stray black fur embedded in the egg.
