What is the meter size of the XXL? What size LEIs are out when you ride on the water with it?
speleopower - 12-2-2011 at 09:05 AM
The kite is 7.09 m2 surface area and 6.23 m2 projected area.
It is very similar to a Flexifoil Blade of the same size. On the water it's usually 12-15 meter LEI kites if I remember correctly. I haven't used it
on the water for quite a few years.
The Quadrifoil recommended wind range is 3-16mph for this kite. It will fly in ultra light wind for buggy or landboard. I have mostly used it for
landboarding lately.

It is a great and beautiful kite made by a great company that is no longer in business.

I wish it was a closed cell one that could be relaunched from water - KiteSurfer X-Foil Pro size XXXL Pro - made by the same company.

I just lowered the price again. I really do need to move this kite.
The Competition series kites flew much much better than the closed cell Kitesurfer version of the same kite.
The Competition series kites fly so well you will rarely crash them and it's what I have been flying on the water since 1999.
Here's a little news blurb with me kitesurfing with a Competition kite from 1999.
Go ahead and buy this kite and you won't be dissapointed!!!!

I used an open cell XXXL way back in 1999 for kitesurfing. Worked great as long as you don't mind handles. Icarex fabric was/is great, drys quickly

all the X series were the best... i still keep the XM on hand just because I feel so comfy over powered or under powered with it and still make it
performe with great results.....

If no one else bids by this Friday, I'll buy it from you for $200. I need to wait for my paycheck at the end of the week. I'll send you a U2U with
my email.

I can't sell the kite for $200. That's just way to low for a kite of this quality and power.
The lowest I will go is $250 plus shipping.

This is the kite for those of you who have learned to fly and now want to learn to jump.
This kite will take you a long way ! Think Blade 4.9m
Great price for a kite with a proven track record. The only reason these aren't still on top is that the company folded.
speleopower - 15-2-2011 at 06:22 PM
Actually it's more like a Blade 4.9 on major steroids. The 4.9 is tame compared to this one in power.
I just need to sell it!!! I hardly use it. Plus I walked outside last night and I had a dang flat tire on my truck!!!! Plus I need a new radiator
and hoses asap.
