Coolbreeze - 16-3-2011 at 12:44 PM

7 Days for me and then a long three days in my truck, but its worth it. .................... its been months since I've put my butt in a buggy seat.

CB

csa_deadon - 16-3-2011 at 03:03 PM

Grant we all could say something about your butt and your buggy seat. They just don't see enough of each other!

Hey Breezy. I get 1300 miles driving for you which shouldn't be more than 2 days driving. When I've done a cross country drive of 2600 miles, I have had 4 days driving and 3 nights. You aren't letting the travel gnome drive are you?

csa_deadon - 16-3-2011 at 03:36 PM

hehe he said travel gnome hehe

nocando - 16-3-2011 at 03:40 PM

Guess what I worked last night on OTime am on a ten hour break.

Officially have 4 hours to work.

Then watch out wooohhooooooooo :wee::frog:

Coolbreeze - 16-3-2011 at 04:37 PM

Too true........................;)

I'll see if I can't do something about that this year. I'm getting tierd of being the comedic end to all of Rips videos, but something tells me some habits are hard to break.

Beamer Bob,....... No Kens not driving, but everytime I've come down for one kiting event or another I've had to factor in a couple hundred bucks extra to pay for speeding tickets, so this time I'm setting the cruise control, cranking the tunes and relaxing. Looking forward to everything. The morning buggy circle bull #@%$#! setions and the nuclear winds. :wee:

BeamerBob - 16-3-2011 at 04:57 PM

I'm thinking leave early and spend the night in Boise, ID. Home run to Primm the next day. Never more than 10 over the speed limit and they should leave you alone. 3 cross country trips and not even a pull over. I got a cop in Nebraska that drove beside me for 3 miles with his spotlight on my buggy in the rack on the back. I started to just pull over to tell him what it was, but my bed and shower were in Lincoln 2 hours away and I wanted to be there. I found that 900 miles in a day was my limit but I liked 700 or less much better.

I agree that the facetime with you guys is more than half the allure of nabx.

Bladerunner - 16-3-2011 at 04:57 PM

Only 7 days of work and 9 days of rain left ! Haven't seen the sun in a Loooonnng time . ( note to self: sunblock )

Seems I am not alone having dreamt about the event last night ! Who else did?

csa_deadon - 18-3-2011 at 10:46 PM

Ugh! Five more work days, and two days to pack the truck! And now strange noises coming from the engine. Not good!

Coolbreeze - 18-3-2011 at 10:49 PM

Don't all chevys make that noise?

csa_deadon - 18-3-2011 at 10:52 PM

Grant you funny!
I'm thinking it's nothing more then the belt tensioner.
If so, only about 30 min to 1 hour fix, and less then $30.00.

"crosses fingers!"

csa_deadon - 20-3-2011 at 09:46 PM

So just a note to those who have been following the countdown, and the chatter on this thread. I am leaving for Primm on Saturday! From Friday night on you will have to count for yourself! :P

Regardless of the cost of the truck repair. The Southern end of the NW wagon train is leavin town!

popeyethewelder - 21-3-2011 at 02:52 AM

csa_deadon - 21-3-2011 at 03:16 AM

It's not the ridin that gets ya. Ask Rip, it's the after hours "strategy talks", and the switch over to Arie time.

So true, so true.

Arie time is up when the wind calls (4am), there is a reason why he sleeps next to the window.

Sleeping is on Ozzy and Ruudje time (2am)

And you thought you were on vacation. You need one after naBx

csa_deadon - 22-3-2011 at 12:23 AM

Killing me! Only two more work days (actually nights!) I feel some form of an "itis" coming on!

Morrie Williams - 22-3-2011 at 09:07 AM

27 hours and 7 minutes until blastoff.

BeamerBob - 22-3-2011 at 09:41 AM

You guys are killing me. I'm still 9 days away from departure.

arkay - 22-3-2011 at 10:18 PM

I'm somewhere between 5 days, 8 days or 370 days... it's not yet clear

deanaoxo - 23-3-2011 at 03:18 AM

csa_deadon - 23-3-2011 at 10:35 PM
