PL Bigfoot Steel Type

Leojim - 19-2-2011 at 11:14 PM

Well I've got a repair to have done. The female for the foot peg broke at the fork.
My questions to all you welding types:
1. Is the PL bigfoot Stainless steel?
2. Any heads up info on getting it repaired?

Thanks for any help.

Stainless steel for sure. I can fix it using a tig welder. The only thing is I am in Woodland Wa but it is a free repair. On the house for Washington Buggies. Oh what the shell I do all buggy repairs for free if your bring it to the shop.

I can probably transport your buggy there when I go to Seaside in March. I will even test it to make sure it will hold up before I go home. I will be there for a week so it should be tested extensively .

Jon's speaking the truth here. All of his repairs are free. Why?
It's because after he's done with the repair he doesn't feel right charging you because he's kept you there all day.

I don't think it has any.thing to do with the margaritas that we consumed!

Jon does good work. Just don't let him paint anything

Thanks for the help guys. I'll be sure to get someone with a TIG welder. I've already identified a couple of prospects and will get er' done on Monday.
Also, thanks for the offer jellis. Unfortunately I won't be in the area to be able to take you up on the offer.
As for your offer stetson05...you dirty dog...nice try! ;-)
