Peter Lynn gear pro bag Review

flyjump - 22-2-2011 at 08:13 AM

I got one of the grear pack pros yesterday when some of my team stuff arrived from head quarters yesterday. Since i'm going to be traveling with lots of kite gear this year I thought that it would be nice to have one bag to organize all of my stuff.

At first I wasn't sure if the bag was going to be big enough for my chargers, harness, and bars. The backpack looked very small in the package that it arrived it. The sheer size is hard to see until you start putting stuff inside of it.

I was able to place both my 12 and 15 chargers inside, sleeping bag, harness, two bar/line sets, plus spars inside and there is still room for more. It has two large vertical zippers that run down the length of the bag for easy access to all of your gear. On the bottom is a nice compartment with outlet grommet to release any sand or dirt that maybe inside. This compartment would be nice to through in a harness or maybe a wet pair of boardshorts. There is a top zipper compartment in the "hood" of the backpack. a good place to leave your keys and wallet so that you don't drop them while riding, or in my case get stabbed in the leg by keys when you crash from a jump.

The construction of the bag is really nice, seems very durable with plenty of support in the shoulder and hip straps. The PL logo that is on the top is embroidered on the pack instead of screen printed like some of the other kite backpacks. I'm anxious to use this back while traveling.

If you were previously interested in this bag and aren't sure if you'd like it, I would feel settled that it will carry a ton of kite gear.

Flyjump got it right. These bags are huge, after they are out of the package. I'm have been able to get all 4 of My RII's, 5m JOJO RM, 2.2m YAK, 5m Flow, individual original bags for kites, line sets/handles for all kits, 6 stakes, divine harness, and extra socks for handles. Need to hire a pig-mi to carry it.
