You won't need too big a kite with a long board.
3m is a good size and what I used getting going on rollerblades.
Stick with a quality name brand . The quality will be assured + resale will be much easier.themountain - 1-3-2011 at 05:42 AM
well...thanks alot to all:wee:...I did major browsing from yesterday on, to build myself a picture what I was going to buy, but unfortunately my
girlfriend already bought a Big Buzz for me ....well...wasn´t my first pic I would say ...anyway , she liked the colour and I had no expenses...
So, lets wait and see ....the longboard is ready to go!!!

Good flying!
Now, go use the money you had for a kite for safety equipment. Helmet, knee pads, elbow pads at the minimum.indigo_wolf - 1-3-2011 at 06:51 AM
Hi Andy.... and welcome.
Just a heads up. I believe the Big Buzz is a 2 line kite. It is fine for getting the basics down, and exploring the wind window (details about that
are here), but you will eventually want to move to a 4 line kite for more control.
+1 on safety equipment before climbing on the board.

Welcome Andy
Glad you picked the right addiction!!! I chose kites over heroin Heroin gets too
expensive but I do find it's harder to come off of a day of kiting than all other drugs And when the wind doesn't blow you will go through ugly
withdrawls and all your money will be spent on trying to scoop up the wind!!! Good luck! Happy flying!!!!! You have a good girl for buying you a kite
even if she chose the one "with pretty colors" still rocks!!!themountain - 1-3-2011 at 09:42 AM
