bugymangp - 7-3-2011 at 10:08 AM

ok. i`ll try again.
i got a full set of c quads. in very good cond.
no repairs needed on any kites.
the sizes are
1.2 custom made in AUS
1.4
2.2
3.2
4.2
6.3
8.5
i only used theses kites for one season a few years ago.
i don't think i ever flew the 8.5. its as big as a tent LOL
this sale is for kites only. a few spare rods to fix any size kite and a few custom fittings. no lines or handles.
i would like to sell as a set for shipping costs. which i will pay.
i would like 500$ for the set.
hows that???????

I knew I shouldn't look at this, such a deal! And then I read where they make great race kites, both performance wise and partly due to the "wash" or turbulent air they leave behind, making it tricky for race foils to stay in the air. Someone's gonna get a great deal here! (If I hadn't just bought frat's 11M Neo, these would be mine!)

That's what I'm talking about!

Would you consider parting it out? These 3 sizes look particularly tasty to me:

1.4
2.2
3.2

let me think about it for a few days.
i really wanted to sell the whole set. thats why i priced them low and i`m willing to pay for shipping out the whole set.

That 4.2 was my favorite size! These kites absolutely ROCK at NABX! "Size per size, nothing else can touch them except maybe the Rev's.

If anyone purchases the set and wants to bring them to NABX, I would be more than happy to give a full lesson on how to use them properly.

i forgot to add.
they come with a custom bag to hold all kites.
the bag looks somewhat like a drum set bag.

bugymangp - 7-3-2011 at 02:17 PM

i`m just thinking to myself.
i`m pertty sure all kites don`t need any repairs. rod wise.
i know the sails and bridles are fine. but i haven`t touched these kites in a few years and i forgot if any have broken rods. but i`m not one to put away a broken kite until it was fixed. but i do have the rods for any size kite.
if anybody buys them. i`ll check them out before hand.

I wish I had the money. We love our C-quads and would love a full set.

Bladerunner - 7-3-2011 at 05:34 PM

Amazing deal I think I have spent almost that on just the top 3 sizes !

krumly - 7-3-2011 at 06:48 PM

That set for $500 shipped? You mean to continental US or Canada?. And in good condition to boot? That is a score...

hey pbc and kite family
i thought about it and i really want to sell as a set.

markite - 11-3-2011 at 09:37 AM

It's a smoking deal Glen. Even at that price it's well worth getting the set to take what you want out of it. It's better than a Pansh deal, but 3 for 500 and get 4 more thrown in for free.

pbc - 11-3-2011 at 12:38 PM

I selfishly spent my birthday money on a kite for me instead of a kite set for the family. One problem is I never had $500 available in the first place. Buying Lad's Phantom was a bit of a stretch for the cash I had at hand.

So I'd have to resell a lot of C-Quads to make it work--like $400 worth. :-)

My fiscal advisor has counselled me to delay all major purchases indefinitely. The problem is we had to do $1200 worth of unscheduled car maintenance in January. We have not fully recovered. If not for some big fat birthday checks last month even the Phantom would have escaped me.

I really need to sell some stuff to get some kite money. :-)

Why on earth has this deal not been snapped up? SEVEN kites for 5 bills.

Either the economy is worse than I thought or I have completely lost touch with an amazing deal when I see it ? :dunno:

rocfighter - 11-3-2011 at 06:33 PM

I would love to have these. And if I had the money I would be flying them. I need to check under the car mats in every ones cars! Sure wish I could do it.:(

I cast my Harry Potter invisibility spell on these in hopes they will still be around come payday.......

bugymangp - 23-3-2011 at 12:58 PM

i guess no sale.
they go back in the closet.

Bladerunner - 23-3-2011 at 04:45 PM

I am officially off in my own world ! In my world these kites wouldn't have been up for a day without being scooped up and enjoyed ? Pretty much a full quiver for the cost of a single kite + some of the most fun kites I have ever flown. :puzzled:
