Looking for advice from experienced riders. First off, if I am over rotating a 360 and know I cannot get around for a 720, how can I land a 540 with
the kite behind and down wind of me? I can get the board to touch down first, but then I'm leaning backwards and the kite also pulls me onto my back.
Same question above for over rotating a 720 and landing a 900.
Is there any way to bail once I know I'm landing backwards or do I just prepare for impact and thank god I have a brain bucket on?
Finally, I've been messing around with riding on my toe edge in both directions. Also tried to throw a couple 540's from my Toe side edge. My
problem is, I can't comfortably reach the bar. I can only get one hand on the bar, and it's hard to pass the kite through the window how I want, and
also pull in on the bar. Another issue is, the hand that is on the bar, isn't the same hand as the one I need to redirect! So if I can't figure out
a way to get my other hand on the bar and pull hard the landing is going to be painful.
The only thing I can think of is to use a lip or jump of some sort, start pulling the kite across the window, and pop off the lip to throw the
rotation. Now when I'm in the air, get my other hand on the bar ASAP, pull in with both hands, and redirect with the hand I just got on the bar.
Thoughts?

if you feel like you aren't gonna land it kick your feet out of the bindings. maybe keep them a little looser so that you can bail when you are
practicing more technical spin tricks. as of not being able to reach your bar, i don't know what you should do. maybe get a sliding stopper ball so
that you can adjust it for reach when you are doing toeside spin tricks. i've experienced over rotating a 720 before too and slid backwards. its
really hard to judge spin tricks when the wind is really gusty. when it picks you up alittle further than you expect it will make you over rotate.
good luck! let me know what happens

I'm talking about on Snow for now. With the landboard I've done exactly what you said. Kick off the board and land on my feet. With a snowboard I
cannot do this though

For over rotating 540/ 900's try landing them blind. Start by learning to ride blind (a bigger board helps) then progress to landing tricks blind.
See the 'Progression' tutorial videos for landing backrolls/ frontrolls to blind.
As far as not being able to reach the bar on tricks from toe side try redirecting the kite with the same hand. If the bar travels out of reach while
switching grip from one side of the bar to the other then a stopper ball will aid in limiting bar travel. This is what I have to do jumping off waves
with a strapless surfboard, ie. one hand on the board & the other controlling the kite.
These are both challenging tricks so good luck. Let us know how you make out.
