peter lynn 07 bar and lines

Looking_Up - 16-3-2011 at 10:02 AM

Ok I bought these because I thought I would need them but it turns out my other bar works just fine and this one would only sit around the bar was sold to me as a new bar from a source I trust only used twice by me still In great condition the lines are used but from what I can tell they are hardly used the bar was going for 165 without lines so I think 200 is fair with lines

Hurry and jump on this I need more kites :spin:

flyguy0101 - 16-3-2011 at 10:19 AM

what is the size of the bar?

Looking_Up - 16-3-2011 at 10:24 AM

I will measure it but I was using is on my 16m venom 2

flyguy0101 - 16-3-2011 at 10:27 AM

guessing its the long one then, was thinking of a short one for my 12m vortex- let me know

Looking_Up - 16-3-2011 at 11:16 AM

I will check this evening

Just to make things interesting I will consider trades straight up or partial

flyguy0101 - 16-3-2011 at 11:26 AM

what are you looking for- i got lots of toys, give me some ideas

Looking_Up - 16-3-2011 at 02:52 PM

Kites man kites

For the right foil or arc I would trade and pay or a flexi bug that's up to carrying my fat butt I am really into the freestyle bugging
But on a limited budget I had planed on building one but if the price is right
Will also consider a mountain board with skate style trucks that will carry me I am 280 in my birthday suit so about 310 with gear

Seanny - 16-3-2011 at 03:04 PM

Would you take $165 for the bar and keep the lines? :)

And it is a 60 cm bar, right?

Kamikuza - 16-3-2011 at 06:16 PM

If Seanny takes the bar, I'll take the lines ...! Probably :D

Seanny - 16-3-2011 at 06:45 PM

I just sold some stuff for $280 (nothing kite related, don't worry. I know you were terrified) and I get my paycheck tomorrow, sooooooo...

Just don't tell my parents.

For half an hour yesterday, they were telling me... "And you're going to save at least x amount of your paychecks before you buy anything. And you have to put aside some money for whatever. And no more kite stuff!! And you're going to have to start paying for gas. And make sure it's direct deposit. And blah blah blah blah yada yada yada." I was doing something else while they were talking, so it was one of those "Mhmm. Yep. Yeah. Yep, got ya. Mhmm. I promise. Mmmkay. Will do." moments. :saint:

Kamikuza - 16-3-2011 at 08:38 PM

With mad skillz like that Seanny you may as well get married cos you're already ahead of the game

If you don't want the lines, I'll buy them off you - so long as they're the orange and blue ones ...

flyjump - 16-3-2011 at 08:57 PM

Kami when you got your nav bar did you get the mixed colored lines or the orange and blue ones? Both my nav bars came with the serrated colored line added in with the white

Looking_Up - 16-3-2011 at 09:01 PM

It is a 21 in or 54 cm bar the lines are blue

Kamikuza - 16-3-2011 at 11:46 PM

flyj - the bar I got from Rip came with the white & stripes (Q-power?) and the bar I got from Italy came with the orange and blue which I prefer just cos I like the colours :D

flyguy0101 - 17-3-2011 at 05:24 AM

now i am confused the bar should be either a 50cm or 60cm, where did you measure from to get 54- Also I have an older, in good shape GI ak103 with bionic trucks and the old peg style bindings. I was about 260 when i was using it with no problems cant vouch for heavier than that. I would be willing to swap the board and some cash for the bar if it is the 50cm. Scott

Looking_Up - 17-3-2011 at 06:33 AM

I just used a tape measure from the outside part that you rap the lines around and 20 inches is 50 cm so it is more likely to be a fifty than a sixty
What are bionic trucks

Looking_Up - 17-3-2011 at 06:37 AM

I feel I should also say that I have interested customer via u2u
Just didn't want to surprise anyone with a sold post

flyguy0101 - 17-3-2011 at 08:05 AM

alright @ 50cm i am also very interested so if your u2u falls through ill take dibs on a trade if your interested. as for bionic trucks they are much beefier then skate trucks and use a polymer cube as the bushing vs the simple donuts found on skate trucks. To adjust the tension on the trucks you change out the cubes- very simple- i have a couple different cube sets, i think but the cubes i have in them now are about mid to stiff and would work great for a heavier guy kiting (the ones i used until i recently upgraded to a new board). the stiffer cubes would be better for downhill riding which i also will send with the board. keep me posted

It is yours

Strait up on the trade?

I have no idea what your board is worth

flyguy0101 - 17-3-2011 at 08:27 AM

No i think to make it fair i should throw in a couple of bucks- i bought the board new for like $175, it has maybe 10-15 hrs time on it so how about i give you board + shipping on the board and still send you $30.00 and you send me bar and lines. Seem fair?
I sent you a u2u to contact me as well
Scott
