***SOLD*** - Neo 2 14m RTF for Sale- $499 plus shipping

lunchbox - 20-3-2011 at 03:46 PM

I've decided to thin my quiver so the Neo 2 14m's got to go. Price includes Kite, Lines and Bar. Buyer will have to pay shipping from 91301 (Los Angeles), however.

Everything is in really good condition (no rips, tears or repairs). The only thing worth mentioning is that there are a few gouge marks on the bar.

I took a ton of pics which you can see here -

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

I can't believe no one has grabbed this yet. I'm up to my eyeballs in Arcs otherwise I would sure get in even deeper hot water with my better half... :o

macboy - 20-3-2011 at 10:40 PM

Ditto on the up to the eyeballs but DAMN! What a deal.

Lunchbox - where's the overlap with this kite in your Venom lineup on the water?

Thanks for the kind words Dino!

Definitely with the Venom 2 19m, Scorpion 16m, Charger 19m and possibly the Charger 15 (haven't flown the 15m so just a guess). Charger 19m might have just a tad bit more low end however. Also had some overlap with the Psycho 4 15m as well.

How much wind can you take a kite of that size into on land? I am so tempted feel sick to my stomach.

g00fba11 - 21-3-2011 at 12:21 PM

Stop this sickness buy the kite...... buy the kite..... you know you want it....... just do it.......

macboy - 21-3-2011 at 01:12 PM

Yeah - heal yourself Patrick! You'll be healing me at the same time. This is crazy tempting - especially after my Frenzy epiphany a couple weeks ago. Love the Arcs but damn the bridled foils are super easy to unpack, launch and land....

Published wind range on this is up to 18 kts I believe.

I've actually only thrown the kite static a few times in pretty light wind. I think Macboy is probably right about the published speed being around 18kts..sounds about right.

So much depends though...what you're riding, what are you riding on, how much you weigh, how brave are you ;) etc. I personally don't know if I would feel comfortable using it on land over 17mph...but then again, I'm pretty cautious and don't like to take too many risks.

So true....really quick to set up and launch and I love the 5th line safety...

Gotta ask......anyone know where you'd put the flying characteristics of this kite compared to the Ozone line? Is it more on the Access side of the spectrum or the Frenzy side of the spectrum? I doubt it's near Manta-spec (I think that's the new HQ offering that's coming).

stetson05 - 23-3-2011 at 08:12 PM

I think you would have to have hooj balls and an even hoojer butt to fly it in 17kts. I can hardly hold onto mine on land in 18mph and I weigh 200lbs.

I would love it to bridge the gap between my 11m and 19m but my recent ER visit has seriously damaged my kite account. Best of luck!!

if yes, could you get a postage quote (Australia, South Australia, 5118)

Hey Brett,

Yes, kite is still for sale and I can ship to Australia. Comes with kite, lines, bar and bag. I'll try to get the postage quote some time today.
The kite is in very good condition. I bought it used but it looked like it had never even been flown before (had a few little gouge marks on the bar but that was it. You can see it in the pictures). I've flown it myself about 4 times static. Kite looks the same as in does in the pics. Think I might have flown it once after I took all those pics and it was a static flight that lasted about 15mins (wind died).
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.

sounds good.
assuming the postage is a decent price, you may have yourself a deal.
if you are too busy to get a quote, you can send me all the details (address, dimensions, weight, etc) that i need and i can do it for you.

Hey Brett,

Ok, I've checked USPS, UPS and Fedex. USPS is by far the cheapest. Looks like it's going to be about $120. That includes insurance of $500 and a delivery time of 6-10 business days.

Package is L 23" x W 16" x H 12". Weight is about 15lbs.

Will ship from Agoura Hills, CA. USA 91301.

Let me know what you think.

Pete

USPS sounds good

i get $116.20
or $106.90 if you are able to pay online

far better than $400+ for the other companies!

spork - 1-4-2011 at 10:55 PM

- just clicked the 'Priority MailŪ International Options' tab

that has postage for $100.65
or $95.62 pay online

(not sure if you are able to pay online)

sounds a bit better

lunchbox - 2-4-2011 at 06:31 AM

I can do online. So total shipping will be 103.42 (95.62 + 7.80 (ins)).

Sent you a U2U.

bobalooie57 - 2-4-2011 at 06:40 AM
