15m free to a good home

BeamerBob - 24-3-2011 at 12:10 PM

NO, its not my Phantom! I was given an 15m caution answer kite some years ago. This is kite only, but it might have some utility for you. I've flown it once. All valves and tubes were in good shape when I packed it up. I don't want to move this kite again. It's big in its carry bag, so a hand off to you or one of your friends at nabx would be awesome. Pump included. And YES, the price is firm.

Edit: opened it up and discovered it is actually a 15m.

Don't trust this guy! He'll become a great kite buddy then move away from you! :(

burritobandit - 24-3-2011 at 12:24 PM

I'm interested but it sounds like you'd rather deliver it to to peeps at NABX to avoid shipping? I'd be willing to pay shipping via PayPal, of course.

I would. I have a prior U2U request as well. Chris, you can have this kite for $50 plus shipping if you are interested. Great high winds kite!

Seriously, it would just take a box about the size of 3 bigfoots to squeeze into. 21-24" square by 24-30 high.

Too Funny!

Bob, if you are going to be at JIBE this year, it is going to be great to meet you. I have met Chris already and he is a riot! The two of you together,..... forget about it!

Chris I hope you get over him soon!

Chris is absolutely one of the funniest guys I've ever been around. I think he must've been a girl in a previous life though.

I won't be able to make JIBE this year since I'm sure we'll be in the middle of a move. Next year is a possibility since in Vegas, I'm considerably closer and won't be moving hopefully. :wow:

I can't stop laughing! This isn't fair because he has a teenage daughter in the house to get material from for his comedy routine.

You know, would that kite make a decent sun shelter? How tall would it sit off the ground if you could somehow stake the edges down?

BeamerBob - 25-3-2011 at 07:57 AM

I bet its over 5 feet high in the middle. Already spoken for by Truman for shipping costs.
