Seems while bindings get a lot of reviews, the griptape keeping us in those bindings doesn't...
For me grip tape, even quality stuff, never lasted long. Playa dust fills the crevices up fast, and being abrasive itself, wears the grip tape down twice
as fast. I switched over to snowboard stomp pads a couple years ago. Haven't had to replace them since I bought them. You can even go to office depot
and buy the spiked plastic you put on carpet for office chairs and make your own designs! It's the same exact stuff, a little 3M spray on adhesive and
your grip tape changing days are over!
I went further and drilled my pads into the deck from underneath with the screws sticking out on top of the deck as far as the stomp pad spikes. My
rubber soles dig NICELY into them.
nice clean deck

That's a great idea! I never would have thought of that but i'll have to give it a try. I think after NABX my boards will be ready for a upgrade
anyway.

Thanks dman! Feel free to come by and put your foot on it and see if you like it at NABX.

Treadmaster works great too. It is the rubber that is on Trampa boards. It was made for sailboats and yachts.
