WELDNGOD - 2-4-2011 at 02:29 PM
you use a paraglider w/ them. I have seen a few flying around here in the summers
John Holgate - 2-4-2011 at 04:25 PM
Now if we could mount that unit on a detachable trailer....
Seanny - 2-4-2011 at 06:13 PM
Why not just ride a go-cart?
WELDNGOD - 2-4-2011 at 07:26 PM

WELDNGOD - 3-4-2011 at 05:59 AM
I see a few every year, looks fun.....if ya trust the wind,as a kiter I don't have THAT much trust in it.
rocfighter - 3-4-2011 at 06:05 AM
We have a guy near us that rents a farmers field for the summer and teaches how to fly these contraptions. It's cool to watch them (from the
ground)
I've seen them up when a gust of wind hits them from the front. Like being on a swing!!
WELDNGOD - 3-4-2011 at 07:46 AM
Some of them are called powered paragliders. You just strap the motor to your back and go ,your legs are the landing gear
John Holgate - 3-4-2011 at 06:34 PM
And so peaceful too..... BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
seriously, 120lbs of thrust on the back of a buggy (say, rigged on a separate trailer) - how much is that going to push you around in a buggy??
WELDNGOD - 3-4-2011 at 06:49 PM
Pushes 'em fast enough to take off,but w/ a large paraglider it's not that hard to get lift.
