Windsurfing/ Fly parts (flexifoil land yacht)

flyguy0101 - 4-4-2011 at 10:04 AM

Well i have completed my zooter project and now have a bunch of windsurfing stuff left. It includes an aluminum mast and foot (cinch down piece) 2 boards, multiple booms, and 2 or 3 sails not sure of sizes but i know one is a 6.6m, 1/2 dozen fins and a bunch of other odds and ends. I ended up buying a guys windsurfing setups and have now got my zooter/fly setup running so thought i would offer the other stuff to anybody here. Price is negotiable (thinking $225 for it all) and can bring it to wildwood spring bash. It is enough stuff to cover the sails and mast assembly for another zooter/fly plus a bunch of other items.

I am bringing 2 buggies I made using sail boat aluminum , so anyone needing to know how its done , examples are available. All bolted no welding involved.

I'll take it all FG. I've been thinking of making a Zooter for the kid and maybe add a rig behind the seat on the kite iceboat. I found a Mistral rig on CL for $20 but the boom is cracked. Should be setup with your spare rigs. Thanks for the offer.
See you @ WWBB. We'll be there Fri, Sat, Sun.

Sold- jaymz is the lucky guy, i am getting there on wednesday so i will have it all for you on friday when you arrive. I suspect with the 6.6 sail you will be able to haul several people on the ice boat or even make a two person zooter

Thanks Scott,
Hopefully the other sails are smaller for a Zooter, but the 6.6 or even larger, should work well with the ice boat being it's 13' long x 9' wide and is quite heavy using old fashioned lumber construction and 30" runners. Guys with similar Ice Flyers type boats are using 5m-9m sail rigs.
I may head down to WW Wed or Thurs if conditions are good and work allows otherwise we'll be there Friday late morning. See you on the beach

Jaymz I'd be interested in one of those boards if you'd like to recoup some of your $.
I'm allways looking for toys "for the kids".
Arriving at WBB maybe thurs evening , more likely fri morn.

It is a shame that I am not closer.

Have 5 hulls 5 booms and a heap of sails of various sizes

that are doing nothing
