Ok, you creative geniuses! What should I call my forthcoming thread blogging my riding at Ivanpah as a local? I always loved reading Phreerider's
Daily Grind threads and want to offer the same kind of info on my Ivanpah trials and tribulations. I felt like I learned something vicariously every
time I read one and hope to spread my good fortune of having such a fantastic place to ride back to the forum.John Holgate - 15-4-2011 at 06:15 PM

Very good stuff! Flexi, I'm actually worried about the lakebed syndrome. On the other hand, I've actually been dreaming of all the fun the guys are
going to be having at JIBE soon. After riding there on Jekyll Island for 2 days last fall, Angus commented that the lakebed doesn't have much of an
advantage over the JI beach. We both agreed that other than the ability to just point your buggy in the direction you want to go while only
considering the angle of the wind and maximizing your pull from it, the hard sands at Jekyll are only less desirable because of the width of the beach
(not being 3 miles wide) and somewhat less traction. Also, Angus has never worn out a set of tires, and I was showing cords on my front tire at nabx
after less than 60 miles. But I promise not to complain about tires wearing out because of riding at Ivanpah.
I like the words dust and wind as well as crack. I have a couple months before I need to come up with something, so let the creativity
continue:bigok:ripsessionkites - 15-4-2011 at 10:48 PM

Daily dust.
Cracks under my tires.

Pinhole dilemma.
Dust, it's what's for breakfast.

I've understood how to be careful with my kites so far. The boys are going to be a bigger problem.KAZEDOKA - 16-4-2011 at 06:37 AM

More like "Kite Finding"
Lots of good choices here and maybe it needs to change every so often to keep from getting stale.SlasherQuan - 17-4-2011 at 09:25 AM
