I bet that topic title snagged a few people in here as quick as they could
Up here in Canada we have a website called Kijiji (Kih-gee-gee) which is a fantastic place to buy and sell......well, anything. Need a toaster? Betcha
you find a killer deal on Kijiji. Need to sell your old car? Kijiji. We've bought and sold all kinds of stuff (even kites).
It's free, fast and easy. There's even an App for that!
So the question is, is there a US counterpart? We're likely going to want to find simple everyday things like a child's wagon, maybe some beach type
toys......things that we'll only need while we're down there and don't want to pay retail for (because then we'd be tempted to try to bring them
home).tridude - 20-4-2011 at 06:56 PM

Try craigslist..........................heres the link for the keys (I remember you saying youre going there)
you realize the winds falls off very soon down there so if you need to head north our season rocks thru July with plenty of activities for you and the
family!!bigkid - 20-4-2011 at 07:15 PM

be careful on craigslist--i was looking at a guitar and amp that seemed to be too good of a deal--i became suspicious, notified authorities , and it
turns out the guy and some of his crime partners were using this to rob people.......personally, i havent seen many decent deals there.....if i need
kites,i shop here or buy new--same with music gear, i buy new......Vince H. - 21-4-2011 at 08:23 AM
Hey Kelly, Long time no......
Yes there is a US counterpart. Kijiji was purchased by the good old folks at eBay a couple of years ago.
So far they have retained the Kijiji name in Canada, but in the US they are now known as eBay Classifieds.
Thanks Vince! (And yes...."long time no _______"! I have seen a few Arcs and accessories snapped up by you - I should come convince you to shake some
dust out of the old Kite Klosets with me ; )Vince H. - 21-4-2011 at 07:18 PM
Well maybe a coffee.. Had a severe rotator cuff injury just before the snow fell and still getting the odd pang. Real busy with business this past
year as well so didn't leave much time to play on the week ends anyway.
Just rotating out some of the older stuff and replacing it with newer old stuff. Just in case.
