I am selling my Flysurfer Pulse 13m. It has a few minor repairs to the kite and bridals. I recently tuned to mixer and had a blast with it down in
Oahu a few weeks ago. I just got a Pyshco 3 13m so I don't need this one anymore. Asking $500 shipped. Oh and I lost the original bag but have a
big duffel bag for it.
I also have a Peter Lynn Viper 2.6m that is still in the plastic. I bought my dad for his birthday but turned ended up getting him a different toy
when we were out that he finds more useful. He is more of a model airplane type guy not so much kite guy. Asking $240 shipped.
Can't figure out how to post pics so u2u me for them.bigkahuna - 21-4-2011 at 07:50 AM
Too bad you're not closer, I've always wanted to try a low aspect Flysurfer. I bet you got some goofy looks while flying on Oahu, eh? Not many foil
kiters there.tridude - 21-4-2011 at 07:58 AM

Thanks tridude, its the only one I have that has not been on John's table, never had the need for it. It turns a little slower than I like but has
loads of power to spare. Very very very stable kite once I got the mixer right.
Actually in Oahu there were quite a few people really interested in them. There was one other guy out the one day with a Speed 2 12m. The kiters
there were really laid back, wish I could say the same for some places closer to home....bigkahuna - 21-4-2011 at 03:19 PM
At one point I knew every foil kiter in the state, but I'm sure things have changed dramatically since I left 4 years ago. I did run into a fellow PL
flier while visiting Kailua last October, but otherwise all I saw were inflatos while I was there.
Yes, things did seem to mellow there a bit from years past, although they still were a lot more crowded than we ever see here. I rarely see foils
here on the S-OBX. I see one guy with a Charger every once in a while, but that's about it.tridude - 21-4-2011 at 04:40 PM
great kite folk if your on the fence...................................kingsofa - 21-4-2011 at 06:08 PM

I weigh about 210. I am learning on the water still, but was able to get up and moving in about 18 or so. On snowboard or landboard 10 - 13 is the
low end for me.tridude - 21-4-2011 at 07:31 PM
10kts low end water.............sine a couple times, build apparent, lock and load upwind like scalded cat........................acartier1981 - 21-4-2011 at 09:24 PM
Like I said I have a lot of learning to do, lol. I was speaking in mph. The guy I bought it from said he could get going in 14mph. When you load it
it will certainly make you soar. I just got some balls from John that I am going to put on the mixer to get rid of those annoying knots too.bigkahuna - 25-4-2011 at 02:24 AM
So would you say the Pulse 13 is roughly the equivalent of a 15m tube kite (SLE)?tridude - 25-4-2011 at 05:11 AM

yes close..............power wise reminds me alot of the SS Rev 2..............Rev 2 power thru kite speed......Pulse is pure grunt combined with a
bit of kite speed................meaning sinning the Rev using the kites speed once up to speed park and ride.
The Pulse sine a couple of times then lock and load (grunt).......
The Pulse and Pulse 2 series are awesome sites!!bigkahuna - 25-4-2011 at 05:34 AM
So too much overlap with my (soon to be arriving) Venom 19, right? As I recall the V19 had roughly the bottom end of a 15m kite. I've never had much
luck with Flysurfers. Had a Titan 15.5 and a Speed2-19. Had a hard time flying them in gusty winds. Wish there was a FS kiter here, would love to
give one of the low AR models a spin. At least the wind is a big less gusty here (usually).tridude - 25-4-2011 at 06:23 AM
yes alot of overlap....................come to JIBE and you can fly mine....................................
